I wrote about my necklace a few weeks ago, but I neglected to tell you that in the process of finishing the design, the original necklace was lost in the mail. Melissa was so kind and generous to make and send another necklace to me, even though the first one was floating around in USPS purgatory.
Well, I’m happy to say that weeks later, the original necklace showed up in my mailbox! It is sitting on my dresser, and thanks to (again, the kind and generous and mega-talented) Melissa, she’s totally down with giving it to one of you. My only request is that you pop on over to the Melissa Loves shop and check out her beautiful handmade jewelry. I’m in awe of everything she creates, but I’m so drawn to this piece.
Enter below and I’ll announce the winner next week. I like to think the necklace is going to end up in the hands of someone who really needs it, and that makes me smile.

May 28, 2014 at 6:14 amHow cool is that? The lost, and now found, necklace fits right into th theme of your blog lately… that meaning is in how we choose to see all of these seemingly insignificant events. I would love the Dont Give Up, well traveled necklace and would treasure ig; but I will be excited for whoever gets it knowing it will fall into the right hands.
