I wrote about my necklace a few weeks ago, but I neglected to tell you that in the process of finishing the design, the original necklace was lost in the mail. Melissa was so kind and generous to make and send another necklace to me, even though the first one was floating around in USPS purgatory.
Well, I’m happy to say that weeks later, the original necklace showed up in my mailbox! It is sitting on my dresser, and thanks to (again, the kind and generous and mega-talented) Melissa, she’s totally down with giving it to one of you. My only request is that you pop on over to the Melissa Loves shop and check out her beautiful handmade jewelry. I’m in awe of everything she creates, but I’m so drawn to this piece.
Enter below and I’ll announce the winner next week. I like to think the necklace is going to end up in the hands of someone who really needs it, and that makes me smile.

May 28, 2014 at 6:45 amSo many beautiful pieces! I was immediately drawn to CLOSE, because the initials shown are E and T, which is the country code for Ethiopia…where we’re adopting from! I also love the bracelet FRIENDSHIP, especially if it was in sterling silver to match my wedding ring. I have three sisters, and we are all friends. I also have some really strong and long-lasting friendships with girls that are like sisters. They are the best cheerleaders, kindest critics, and sweetest gifts God has given me.
