Gap Always Skinny Cords

Oh, you guys. I love everything about Gap right now. (By the way, I know it’s “Gap,” but it is so hard not to refer to it as “The Gap.” Wasn’t it called “The Gap” at some point? Am I making this up?) Regardless, there is a 90% probability that each and every daily outfit that I bust out includes something from Gap.

My newest love? These skinny cords. They are PERFECT. Comfy, not too tight, and good for the derriere. I bought the flint gray color yesterday and am going back for the black this afternoon. Especially with the Wednesday/Thursday deals they have been doing this month. Have you received those coupons from the store? Basically, you can get 40% off (45% with a Gap card) on one regularly priced item in the store every Wednesday and Thursday of the month. So, those skinny cords were 32 bones! DUDE! I’m telling you, these Gap peeps are some smarties because even I, Internet Shopper Supreme, will shut my laptop, get off my ass and go into the store for that kind of discount.

Love love love the skinny cords. Love. Do it. (FYI – I went up one size in the cords compared to the denim skinnies. Food for thought.)

    This is the second time I’ve heard how great the Gap (or The Gap:) card is- and the amazing coupons that go with. I stopped opening up card accounts, but I think I’m going to apply for this one… sounds too good to pass up.

    Yes, b/c their commercials used to say “fall into The Gap”. Which makes more since anyway because would you say “I got my jeans at Gap”. That sounds weird. Everyone would say “THE Gap”. At least everyone I know!

    Oooh, I have a Gap groupon that I need to use by next Saturday — I think I might just know what I’ll be using it on!

    Now listen: are they flattering? I’ve got a little junk in the…hips going on right now (why is there no cutesy rhyme for this?) and I don’t want to look like a big old pear. I have tried on only ONE pair of skinny jeans that didn’t make me look like an extra in an 80s video (and bought them, obviously; in fact, I’m wearing them right now) so either it’s my body or it’s the fit or…..I don’t know. Anyway, I’m going to go to the Gap (for that’s what I call it too) this weekend and try these on. Thanks for the recommendation!

    those 40% on wednesday coupons definitely have me going into the store. i am excited to try these! they look perfect tuck into my boots cords.

    I might have to order these with my Give and Get coupon. I’m rocking this dress at work today. http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=13658&vid=1&pid=791636&scid=791636012 The reviews are mixed, but I love it. I went to Gap earlier this week and for the first time in ages, I found way more there than BR. I had to keep myself from buying the half the store.

    I have these pants and also are obsessed with them! I bought these and a pair of the jean leggings from them and alternate daily which ones I wear. I am sure people are getting sick of them.

    I love how they are a little more high-waisted than other pants. My butt doesn’t hang out the back when I lean down and they look better on me.

    LOVE. I want them in every color.

    I’m wearing a pair of skinny J. Crew toothpick cord in that same color today, but I’ve noticed too that recently, Gap pants have just been fitting like a dream! I’ll need to go check these out …

    I bought the grey skinny cords yesterday too!!! While wearing my blue ones. I adore them. Oddly, I have to go DOWN a size in the cords vs. the Gap skinny jeans. Sizing can be so weird.
