Gap Always Skinny Cords

Oh, you guys. I love everything about Gap right now. (By the way, I know it’s “Gap,” but it is so hard not to refer to it as “The Gap.” Wasn’t it called “The Gap” at some point? Am I making this up?) Regardless, there is a 90% probability that each and every daily outfit that I bust out includes something from Gap.

My newest love? These skinny cords. They are PERFECT. Comfy, not too tight, and good for the derriere. I bought the flint gray color yesterday and am going back for the black this afternoon. Especially with the Wednesday/Thursday deals they have been doing this month. Have you received those coupons from the store? Basically, you can get 40% off (45% with a Gap card) on one regularly priced item in the store every Wednesday and Thursday of the month. So, those skinny cords were 32 bones! DUDE! I’m telling you, these Gap peeps are some smarties because even I, Internet Shopper Supreme, will shut my laptop, get off my ass and go into the store for that kind of discount.

Love love love the skinny cords. Love. Do it. (FYI – I went up one size in the cords compared to the denim skinnies. Food for thought.)

    *Sigh* I’ve been looking at these for a few weeks now. I finally tried some on and yes, they are fantastic… except for the fact that they don’t even come down to my ankle bones. Here’s to hoping that they come out with a long version!

    Love that Gap also has TALL sizes, even if only online — shirts everywhere these days are just too darn short for me. Must go try those cords now . . .

    The perks fo having a GAP card are the best. I am right with you that every outfit I put on contains at least one item from it. I didn’t get the cords yet this year, but I am still rocking my sexy bootcut dark gray cords from last Fall and they are still so freaking cute. Might need to check out these ones…

    Ladies. I’ve had these in blue and gray for 2 months and have to beg myself NOT to wear them every damn day. It’s my uniform. As for shoes: flats, of course, and boots. And yes, the card rocks. You always get stuff and can even talk them into more discounts at the register. Love the jegging cords!

    I’m glad you mentioned that you went up a size in the cords. I ordered a pair of these online in my regular size and, er, they gave me, um, how do I even say this? A camel-toe. Ew. NOT cute. I thought it was just the cut but maybe I should try a larger size. In theory, they are so cute! Next size up, I’m giving you a shot.
