1. I deflowered my 7-year-old virginal hair with highlights yesterday!
2. I am in love with a new, organic pressed powder. (It’s a DRUGSTORE brand, holla! I found it at Ulta, which upon walking into the store realized I had a $5 coupon back at my house so I turned around and drove back to the house just to get the damn coupon, most likely wasting that five dollars in gas. WHY DO I DO THESE THINGS? )
3. 5 days of hair product giveaways starting next Monday at Hair Thursday.
4. Because gross feet suck, 10 ways to beautify your toesies this summer.
5. As I mentioned on Twitter, I bought two more maxi dresses yesterday. Uh, I now own SEVEN maxi dresses. This needs to stop. (Are they really the new mom jean? TELL ME IT ISN’T SO. I think they are downright darling with the right accessories! I guess being tall helps too…what say you?)
6. I am BEYOND THRILLED to not have to write anything on the internet for two whole days.

(Um… for the record though, I’m almost 6 feet tall so yeah… I think tall helps when it comes to the Maxi Dress)

June 12, 2009 at 7:22 amAlas, I believe being tall HAS to be the hit-or-miss factor. Or maybe actually having some boobage. I bought an adorable navy & white striped one from Old Navy and now have it in a bag to return :( I look like an old nighty-wearing-granny-man in it!! Maybe I need to be over 5’5″ or have boobs that are AT LEAST a full A. I have neither. I’m sure you look Cali gorgeous breezy in yours though. And I LOVE the new highlights! I have got to get into the salon. It’s been 6 months..eek. Don’t tell Hair Thursday :)

June 12, 2009 at 9:24 amI have 3 maxi dresses – two from Target and one I just bought from NY&Co for my Hawaii trip. LOVE THEM. I also have another INC one, but I think I might take it back – its cute, but the fabric is a little too thin and just isn’t as flattering.
Yeah, it helps that I’m 6′ tall and have the boobage to go with it. Unfortunately, with some of the cuter, strappy dresses, I either have to wear a strapless bra or skip them all together, as my cups runneth over.

June 12, 2009 at 10:21 amI’m with Amy – every nightgown, er, I mean maxi dress, that I have ever attempted has been returned. I’m thinking it has to do with my height, which is a WHOPPING 5’2″. Maxi dresses pretty much make me look like a fireplug. Awesome.

June 12, 2009 at 11:34 amOk so I totally just google mapped my route to Tera … it would take 49 minutes from my house. So tell me … how is she with transitioning mid-long hair to shortish hair? Half my hair volume fell out after I gave birth and I’m trying to hold on to my long super straight (and badly layered, might I add, thanks to a disastrous haircut that caused me to BREAK UP with my stylist in September) hair but it’s lookin’ TIRED. Also? Growing in a full two shades DARKER. I’m ready for a summer change. Just need the green light from the expert! (I ask because some stylists are fab with long hair … others with short … Tera is FABULOUS obviously — look at YOU! — but? How is she as a hairdresser? Conservative? Daring? I NEED TO KNOW. AM SCARED).
