Today I put makeup on for the first time in a week or so – it’s interesting how the act of applying makeup can boost the mood, at least for me!
I do feel the need to express how grateful I am for everyone on the frontlines who aren’t able to stay at home during this scary time – doctors, nurses, medical staff, delivery persons, mail carriers, drivers, grocers, etc. I poke fun at the boredom of staying home, but fully realize how privileged I am to do so and do it in a safe space. I do not take that for granted.
