Pleated Silk Tee

Pleated Silk Tee, Martin + Osa

I haven’t shopped for almost a month. A MONTH. OF NO SHOPPING. I need this shirt, people. I need it bad.

1. It’s my very favorite shade of pink.

2. In fact, it reminds me of my glasses, seen here on the dashing Brandon.

(I met up with some incredibly cool bloggers Friday night. I was completely overserved and forced people to wear my glasses. The end.)

((You really should read Brandon’s recap here. It may or may not include the most hilariously awesome photo created by Secret Agent Josephine in the history of mankind.))

3. Back to the shirt – not that I would wear the shirt and the glasses together, mind you.

4. It would be a lovely addition to my Valentine’s Day ensemble. Yeah, I might wear pink on Valentine’s Day, what of it?

5. I have dropped a few hints to the husband about this being the Best Goddamn Valentine’s Present Ever, but I’m not sure he is comprehending.

6. SOMEONE PLEASE BUY THIS FOR ME. GAH.

Just a Few Things

1) I’m so happy American Idol is finally down to 24 contestants. The auditioning process was so. very. tiring. to. watch.

2) Speaking of American Idol, my husband’s hair temporarily looks like Simon Cowell. It is very unfortunate. We both got haircuts yesterday, in which he had a fair amount cut off. His hair literally did not know which way to lie, so it just stood straight up in perfect Simon Cowell squared-off fashion. Sexy.

3) Have I mentioned that Whoorlito will most likely break the world record for the most hair? The thickness factor between D and I is insane- it’s very possible that Whoorlito might look like this.

4) So many of my daily blog reads have been in my dreams lately. Jurgen Nation, Something So Clever, Sarcomical, and some sort of Sarcastic Journalist and Secret Agent Josephine hybrid. Maybe I need a break from all the reading.

5) My belly is starting to pop.

6) Chipotle for lunch! Wiping the drool off my keyboard.

Secret Agent Josephine rehashed our lame Halloween evening very eloquently in her entry.

I have nothing to add except a photo of my kitchen counter from this morning.

What am I going to do with all of this candy?!

Evil Knievel Beach-Style

Hola,

Wow, I can’t believe it is already Monday again. This year seems to be flying by at warp speed. Like they say, the older you get, the faster time flies. Whoah! Slow down, Puh-lease! This Saturday, my fabulous friends from the City of Angels came down to the beach to spend a glorious afternoon by the ocean. It was such fun- mainly because I was in the company of the cutest 4-month old known to man, aaaand it was his first time to the beach!

I guess most babies aren’t supposed to wear heavy-duty sunscreen until they are 6 months (huh?), so his parents bought him a little baby wetsuit and sunglasses. We sat out on a blanket on the sand and dressed this little cutie in his new gear. Once he was fully beach-ready, we noticed he looked familiar. Who could this kid look like? He’s 16 weeks for goodness sake. And then it hit us. This darling child had been transformed into baby Evil Knievel! Take a look for yourself!

How darling is he? I just love him so!

Must run- I’m off to take a walk with Secret Agent Josephine. Talk soon!
