July 31, 2020 at 9:06 amI’ve been using bandanas from Coolibar. They’re made from sun protective fabric and are also lightweight and breathable compared to cotton. It’s easier to sip a drink or wave a little fresh air in under the bandana since it’s more open in the chin zone. They stay up pretty well, but when I fidget with them (pulling them up and down frequently) the knot does loosen a bit too much. I also like a buff-style face mask that double as a soft headband.

July 31, 2020 at 10:41 amI use a bandana as a mask because I have a super cute one that makes me feel super cute! Also, no, it doesn’t stay up like an ear-loop one. It has ok staying power, but it’s not for a long outing.

August 1, 2020 at 10:28 amThere is some doubt about whether bandanas are as effective against the virus as a traditional mask that adheres both on the top and sides AND under the chin. I would look into the research first.

August 10, 2020 at 11:46 amYes! Just came back to report back that they’re not effective. Which is too bad but #science.

August 1, 2020 at 12:06 pmI’m Hannah Banadana! Hahaha! I haven’t had any issues. I triple fold the part that’s over my nose + mouth and leave it long to cover my chin. I find it more way more comfortable. And, it’s cute. :)
