3. Chill with your screen time guilt!

4. If 2020 were a song. #nailedit

5. This skincare product is EVERYTHING. Wanting a moisturizer that isn’t a face oil, but also isn’t a full-on night cream? Run, don’t walk.

6. Breonna Taylor is on the cover of O Magazine. The first one ever without Oprah.

7. My favorite hand sanitizer is free with a $60+ purchase at Aillea through today! Use code WHOORLCLEAN.

8. Schitt’s Creek earns 15 Emmy nominations! So deserved.

9. New study shows wearing a mask not only protects those around you, but you are protected as well.

10. 100+ no-bake desserts for the summer heat.

11. Cleary these are my favorite cloth masks, but I’m intrigued by this one. Anyone out there using bandanas as face coverings and do they stay up?

12. This styling cream has been a lifesaver during this incredibly hot and humid summer. It smells so delicious too! (A list of all of my favorite hair products can be found here.)

13. John Lewis wrote this shortly before he died. What an incredible message that we all must enact.

Happy Friday to you. We are enjoying ourselves in Laguna Beach for a few weeks, although this summer is obviously quite different. Hope you have a relaxing weekend.

I’ve been using bandanas from Coolibar. They’re made from sun protective fabric and are also lightweight and breathable compared to cotton. It’s easier to sip a drink or wave a little fresh air in under the bandana since it’s more open in the chin zone. They stay up pretty well, but when I fidget with them (pulling them up and down frequently) the knot does loosen a bit too much. I also like a buff-style face mask that double as a soft headband.

I use a bandana as a mask because I have a super cute one that makes me feel super cute! Also, no, it doesn’t stay up like an ear-loop one. It has ok staying power, but it’s not for a long outing.

There is some doubt about whether bandanas are as effective against the virus as a traditional mask that adheres both on the top and sides AND under the chin. I would look into the research first.

I’m Hannah Banadana! Hahaha! I haven’t had any issues. I triple fold the part that’s over my nose + mouth and leave it long to cover my chin. I find it more way more comfortable. And, it’s cute. :)
