Guess what, friends? I have a newish obsession with bullet journaling. It started about a month and a half ago, and I simply can’t stop won’t stop. The entire process is truly fantastic, especially FINALLY being able to keep all of my thoughts, inspiration, and weekly planning in one place.
A few weeks ago, I filmed a Facebook Live video on all things bullet journal, and thought I would post it here for you if you’re interested in taking the plunge. I’ve also rounded up my favorite supplies, links, and daily inspiration. Enjoy!
My Supplies:
Leuchtturm 1917 A5, Dotted Pages – Dotted pages aren’t a requirement, but I find they are extremely helpful in mapping out my templates. Also, the index in the front keeps everything organized and easy to find. The Goulet Pen Company has a great selection.
Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens – Love these pens. I use the Fine and Superfine tips.
Staedtler Triplus Fineliner – Love color? These pens are great, and don’t cause ghosting on the back of the journal pages.
Foldable Ruler – If you are planning to carry your journal in your purse or smaller bag, a foldable ruler fits nicely.
Correction Tape – If you make a smudge or mistake and can’t deal with it. (Haha, WHO ME?)
Favorite Bullet Journal Links:
Tiny Ray of Sunshine – She has a great page on minimalist bullet journalists, as well as tons of helpful information.
Laura from bujo.auslife is my favorite minimalist bullet journal guru. I model a many of my templates from her spreads.
Here’s the original Bullet Journal website. Great video on how it all works without being totally overwhelming.
Boho Berry has a great You Tube channel featuring tons of in-depth tutorials.
Favorite Bullet Journal Instagram Accounts:
I hope you will give bullet journaling a try! I am absolutely loving it. Feel free to hit me up in the comments if you have any questions.
EDITED TO ADD:
Some of you requested to see specific pages in my bullet journal, so here you go.

October 25, 2016 at 3:54 pmThis is awesome! I think it would be helpful if you added photos to the post of some of the pages you talk about in the video, since they don’t show up super well on the screen.

October 25, 2016 at 7:55 pmI can’t wait to start doing this. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of googling everything about Bullet journaling and have always gotten so overwhelmed. this makes it seem so manageable! Would you be able to take photos of your page layouts? It’s hard to see in the video. And I didn’t catch it but do you have adaily page as well, or just weekly? Thanks!!!

October 25, 2016 at 11:03 pmI just ordered the basics to try it! I love to-do lists but am not sure I have the resolve to keep a Bullet Journal going, but we’ll see! I also like that it’s real pen & paper.
If you do post pics of the pages that would be great! I get a little lost in the organization of it, even on the minimalist ones.
Great and informative video, thanks!
ps – I’m an acupuncturist in SF so you’re welcome to contact me if you want a recommendation in OKC! (I don’t know anyone personally but I have a solid online network.) :)

November 2, 2016 at 1:19 pmHi Tracy! Oops, I just saw this! I didn’t mean to advertise here (sorry Sarah!) but my website is http://www.allisoncrawford.com... You can email me if you need a reco for a different neighborhood too! :)

November 2, 2016 at 1:21 pmI will get a referral (or two) and email you! I’m sorry it took me a few days to come back to this. I’m sending friends here to find Bullet supplies. :)

November 3, 2016 at 1:39 pmHi! I sent a FB message with one referral, and here’s one more just in case, and in case anyone else in OKC is looking… 1) Acupuncture Healing Corner 2) James Maher (405) 942-1725. He has been in practice forever (20 years!) and is an expert, but has no website. I’d probably try calling him first. In general calling any acupuncturist and chatting for a bit is a good way to get a sense of them. And, if you see one and it’s not a good fit, then try someone else! http://www.theleadingphysiciansoftheworld.com/James.Maher.8128252.Acupuncture.html

October 26, 2016 at 5:59 amSo, this is kind of what I already do, but I plan to explore it more and try it out. I love me a good list. My husband is always trying to get me to use all of these new-fangled iPhone apps for list-making, but I always go back to my, tried and true, pen and paper.
