Inquiring Minds Want To Know

Many of you have asked how I’ve been adapting to this whole working mom gig. I’d love to spill my guts to you all in painstaking detail, but for now, this photo should answer that question.

This is what Wito had to wear yesterday after realizing I hadn’t done his laundry since returning to work.

Fancy, don’t you think?

He’s still as precious as ever, and I love the leggings.

I let go of the OCD laundry demon that rocks my soul, and I let the nanny do laundry for both kids this time. I still do my own though…

I’d love to make fun of your little ensemble for the boy, but I’ve been known to put together outfits like that without being low on clean clothes.
And that is why I am not allowed to dress our girls anymore.
Lack of style or brilliant strategy, you decide.

We have had our fair share of days where Jillian was dressed in pink pants, a purple onesie and green socks. She likes it. And just think: the first time he says “Mom, I look stupid in this” when you dress him up, you can whip out this picture and say “No, you don’t.”

That outfit is funkalicious! After I chuckled (a bit), I swear I thought is was cool…mostly because Anders seems to wear it so well. I’ve always said that people can pull the craziest outfits off, so long as the have the confidence to back it up. Obviously, Anders is a stud!

The compromise I was able to come up with was that I ‘do’ the laundry (as in, put it in washer/dryer or hang as neccessary) and our nanny folds it and puts it away. It’s bliss. And we do alot of dry cleaning too!

Ha. Best outfit EVER. Sometimes my husband leaves the house dressed similarly.

I do believe that boy’s just about getting big enough to do his own laundry! He is thriving!

I’m with Sizzle, I think the outfit is funky and fun, and it makes me feel better since I undoubtably will someday dress my future kid in something equally un-matching since I HATE laundry.

Okay are Chloe and Anders brother and sister…they have the same toupee flip up mohawk deal. Okay that outfit kills me. I actually laughed out loud. Call it serious sleep deprivation, but that picture is hilarious! Yeah, tell your wench to get her butt in gear and add a few more challenging things to her repitore.

Sadly, this is how I imagine my children will dress most of the time…this resembles my own baby pictures far too much, and I just know I’m going to take after my mother when it comes to dressing babies in quirky clothing.

But your darling looks perfectly happy in his artsy clothes, so no harm done!
