1. My pink glasses are taking an extended sabbatical, but will be replaced with ones described as “a bold optical form evoking the archetypal sexy librarian image”. Goodness Me! This might not seem like breaking news, but PEOPLE, can we talk about how expensive glasses are these days? Wow.

2. Carson Palmer should feel free to throw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns this evening. (Did I tell you about the night I saw him at my fave Mexican restaurant? He’s a tall drink of water, that Carson.)

3. Wito has boycotted all naps. For. Ever.

4. I am not feeling the slightest bit guilty about drinking a beer on a Monday afternoon. Yet ANOTHER good reason to live on the West Coast – Monday Night Football at 4:00pm.

    My first pair of glasses were rose-colored. Not the lenses (boy – that would be cliche), just the frames. I got laughed at, because they were big and it was the 80s and I was wearing a plaid dress to match. They were nowhere near your stylish pinks. My 10-year-old self is kind of jealous.

    My last pair of glasses were ridiculously expensive, too. And my son has been taking less than 20 minute naps for the past month. I’m going crazy! I too blame teething- but where are the teeth? Mama needs a break.

    RE: number 3. I received the following note home when I picked Jonah up from preschool yesterday, “We were wondering if you wanted Jonah to stop napping. He could be moved to be a non napper next if it’s all right with you. Please let us know what you think!”

    What I think? I think its amazing you people have been able to get him to nap until he is almost 4. Naps have been boycotted for the last 8 months at home.

    At least Wito didn’t actually document his non napper staus.

    i’m no help here, celia and moira still nap most days.

    but then again, they don’t go to sleep until 10pm.

    i’m not sure which is worse, no nap or naps with late bedtimes.

    I had blue glasses for a while and loved them.

    I wanted red ones in time for BlogHer. But dude, they are not cheap. An thus the black glasses rocked Chicago.
