I was there today. The yellow v-neck sweater (not pictured here) is a mustard-y yellow. Lovely! And I bought the Minnie pants in black stretch twill, and they are best things I’ve purchased in ages. Had to go up a size, but whatever. Flattering as hell. (Didn’t get them in the vibrant red, but I tried them on. Not feeling them now, but maybe if they go on deep sale, I’ll reconsider!)
If I lived my life in *Instagram* I’d buy up the JCrew store, but alas, I do not. I live my life with three sons who like to run around naked and pee on the floor. No vibrant yellow for me other than a fancy crew neck sweater.
i am so craving j.crew’s fall releases- very glad they went back to their more classic, clean looks. the sequins and harem pants of recent seasons were not good.

I like the cut of the clothes, but I am not a fan of yellow on myself. It just looks weird on me.
