“Wanna make a song, Mommy?” – He is too cute! But, I also sympathize with you…the rain will go away! May I suggest an artist that kiddos around here adore? His name is Rick Charette, and his music is so cute, entertaining, and funny. Maybe Wito would like listening to him :o)

It’s better than listening to the Busy Ball Popper, from which I had to remove the batteries, on a loop for hours on end. I noticed you had one. It was cute at first, but now I think Lucifer invented it specifically for my mental demise.

As someone who gets to experience Wito’s musical prowess as a Quicktime file, allow me to say, “Aw!”

But I can see how it’d make a girl go nutty.

Focus on your pretty Valentine’s Day gifts. Rub your new sweater against your cheek and sniff your pretty flowers.

And then replace Wito’s xylophone mallets with giant Q-tips.

Dude. Come to my house; this is NOTHING.

(Also. I’d come back to visit in a heartbeat. Sigh.)

GAGH!!! The in-laws gave us a xylophone for Christmas and the boys NEVER touch it except at 3AM EVERY NIGHT FOR THE PAST WEEK!?! Why, oh why?? Do the wee morning hours suddenly make it gain an irresistible appeal?! This morning we’d had enough and are putting it in the attic for awhile. No rain here on the east coast, but the bitter cold is keeping us indoors and also making us go insane. I can barely take listening to one more Thomas dvd.

Oh, that’s nothing. Really. We’ve been indoors for months…whatever you do, DON’T BUY WITO LEGOS.

(We’re having 18 4 year olds over for Sebastian’s birthday on Thursday. I’ve been losing sleep over this!)

    Oh dear Lord…RAIN!

In Seattle, we just have to say “F the rain” and go outside. My kid doesn’t even know that you shouldn’t play in the rain.

(Isn’t the entire point about living in CA is the SUN?! My heart hurts for you!)

That is a sucky feeling, I hear you. Sometimes, when I’m trying to reign in the shopping fiend, I hang up the clothes in my closet by color or by type. More often than not, I find I already have something pretty similar, which helps me decide about which things to keep. I don’t really NEED two cardigans in the same color, even if the new one is super cute…

Maybe that will help you decide which tops to take back. Good job on your restraint- 6 weeks is awesome, you can do it!

Maybe keep them but get rid of two other things in your closet that you don’t love….
