Vote! Do it for your country! (Or me, at least.)

Okay, ladies and gents. I’m at an impasse with my bangs. Should I keep them blunt or go back to sideswept? My hair appointment is tomorrow. Please helllllllp me – I’m pregnant, moody and clearly incapable of making a decision by myself.

How about a visual?

bangs

It’s like my own mini Hair Thursday makeover. Please vote – I’m dying to know what you think!

The blunt (which you are one of very few people who can pull them off well) are more modern, trendy looking, but for some reason I see them on people and just think they are trying too hard (does that make sense?) The sideswept are elegant/classic and are my preference but, looks wise, you cant go wrong either way.

I CHANGE MY VOTE! I voted sideswept (because of the baby – yadda yadda yadda) and then I read your comment about NOT considering le bebe and I TAKE IT BACK! I luuuuurve the blunt bangs on you and you can deal with the bambino when it arrives. Rock the blunt now! Maybe get a few more face framing layers so they can blend when you go wavy? Or braid the bangs in when you go wavy – uber cute!

I voted sideswept. I just think they are more classy. And now that I’ve seen your comment on the straight vs. wavy, since they are more versatile, I like the sideswept even more.

Go blunt. Check out the new keratin treatment once the babe comes – half the drying time, minimal product, no straightening. http://www.keratincomplex.com/

Hmm. I voted for keep ’em blunt. but was second-guessing that vote. Maybe sideswept is easier?

Today at Hair on the Brain were photos of The Blunt Bang Goddess herself, Jane Birkin. And now I’m in love with the idea of bangs again.

    Yeah. Bangs.

I’m with you… the straightening is a pain and I don’t like my blunt bangs with the rest of my hair wavy. Back to sideswept I go!
I think you should rock the blunts for a few more months and then go sideswept when you want a change.

Blunt, blunt, blunt!!! I know it’s a pain to straighten… but why not keep them blunt for now (when you might actually have the time to straighten) and then go sideswept when the baby comes (and you’ll probably be doing wavy much more frequently!).

For now, blunt all the way.

Another consideration besides straight or wavy, which way is easier when you pull your hair back–blunt or sideswept?

i voted blunt because that’s the kind of mood i’m in right now, but both look gorgeous on you. another solution is just to keep going back and forth. everytime i get my hair cut i start with blunt bangs and then as they grow out, i start sweeping them to the side. i like both styles and figure this method gives me the best of both worlds. but, again, you can’t go wrong…

Hi Sarah! I voted sideswept :)I used to have the same hair style one year ago and it looks better on you than blunt :).

DEFINITELY sideswept. I like the blunt on you, but Sarah! When you’re pregnant, life should be as easy as possible. So give yourself a break, take one more thing off your to-do list each day, and go for the Easy.

aaaand I see that I’m commenting AFTER your hair appointment. Me= behind the times.
