Okay, ladies and gents. I’m at an impasse with my bangs. Should I keep them blunt or go back to sideswept? My hair appointment is tomorrow. Please helllllllp me – I’m pregnant, moody and clearly incapable of making a decision by myself.
How about a visual?
It’s like my own mini Hair Thursday makeover. Please vote – I’m dying to know what you think!
Sideswept! That way you can do wavy or straight hair! And although you might have to wash your hair more when you wear it wavy, you can let it air dry so there’s less work there!

You are beautiful BOTH ways, but I voted sideswept bc I know from experience how much easier it is to keep up with. AND you’re pregnant so I’m trying to be helpful, even though I do totally ENVY your ability to pull off the blunt bangs. They really are adorable!!

being one of your fellow blunt bang people, it’s a really tough call. The bangs look great either way, and I voted sideswept only because I’m just now getting annoyed with how frequently I have to make time for trims with the blunt bangs. Plus, now that I’ve read that you prefer the sideswept with your awesome wavy hair, I think you should go back to those for now!

You of course look great with both, but I think the sideswept look is more sophisticated.

I really like them both, but they would be easier to deal with sideswept. Being pregnant and all that….

You can pull of blunt bangs like nobody’s business. However, I’m all for versatility and with hair that looks as gorgeous in its wavy state as yours, I say sideswept or do just a bit of a blunt trim that’s enough to get you by this time but with an eye toward sideswept at the next appointment. By spring you might not feel like raising your arms to straighten it. :-)

Uh, good point about the baby being six months away. I didn’t even think of that. I change my vote to blunt.

i love the blunt but i always think a side swept is flattering. i love it wavy with side swept, it is something you can pull off and most can’t b/c your hair is smooth even when curly. maybe it is b/c the blunt is what every person on my block has right now.
I like the side swept because I feel like you can do more with it, and on an average day, it takes less time to style. I loved blunt bangs when I had them, but man, they kept me busy.

i voted side-swept, because i recently forgo’ed (fore-went?) my blunt bangs and am lobbying for reassurance. my blunts were just not holding up well in this winter wind.

I love both on you. Sooo, I think that they still are in fashion and you should keep them for a while longer especially since you rock them. The humidity is so low right now as well so it’s easier to blow dry and keep straight longer compared to the late summer when you first got them. You can always do the side swept bangs next summer…

I just think the sideswept bangs show off more of your pretty face. Both look great but the sideswept are a little more sophisticated in my opinion.
It’s funny – I hadn’t noticed your request for votes yet, but I was just looking at your picture and thinking “Man, I love those blunt bangs. Maybe I should get mine back again?” Keep the blunt look. They’re more interesting than side swept.
