Vote! Do it for your country! (Or me, at least.)

Okay, ladies and gents. I’m at an impasse with my bangs. Should I keep them blunt or go back to sideswept? My hair appointment is tomorrow. Please helllllllp me – I’m pregnant, moody and clearly incapable of making a decision by myself.

How about a visual?

bangs

It’s like my own mini Hair Thursday makeover. Please vote – I’m dying to know what you think!

LOVE the blunt bangs! You’re super cute and could pull off anything, but the blunts are sweet!

I love both! Maybe blunt for now, and sideswept when the bebe arrives? (Easier to pin back?)

I think the blunt bangs make you look younger.

You look great with bangs either way but I like the blunt bangs a little more.

While I love the blunt bangs and would totally get them myself if I knew I could pull them off like you do, I am going to have to go with swide-swept. Practically speaking, I feel like blunt bangs are going to be a pain the ass when you have a newborn baby to tend to and less time to spend on your hair.

    Putting my two cents in…

My personal favorite is wearing blunt bangs with straight hair. BUT I really don’t like the blunt bangs when I wear my hair naturally wavy, which is about half the time.

So, my dilemma is whether I cut blunt bangs and take the time to straighten my hair on a frequent basis OR get sideswept and be able to wear my hair wavy on days when I’m not feeling it.

One more caveat. When I straighten my hair, I can go several days without washing, but wavy hair requires more washing. It’s a toss-up, peeps!

Also, I don’t think people should worry about the baby coming next summer. Regardless of how I cut them now, they will be totally different 6 months from now…

I like the sideswept! I have the same issue with straight v. wavy, and wavy almost always wins! Plus your wavy hair is so gorgeous!

I wasn’t really sure how to vote, depends on the weather is what I say. I love my blunt bangs, but now that it’s winter the static electricity has them pasted to my forehead the majority of the time. As such, I’ve decided to grow them out and go sideswept until early next fall (bangs = no-no in the heat), when I will DEFINITELY be bringing blunt back (um, assuming it’s still in, that is).

I’m not really a fan of blunt bangs, anyway, but I agree that you look super-cute no matter what. My vote is for side-swept, but it has more to do with my opinion of blunt bangs in general.

Out of all the people trying to rock the blunt bangs these days, I think you wear them best. Truly. I vote blunt bangs for now while you still have two free hands and the energy to straighten your hair. :)

Well I must be the only one who didn’t know you were pregnant. Where have I been?!? Congratulations! I have hair very similar to yours. Back in April I did the blunt bangs and within about 3 visits I went back to sideswept. I do think you are gorgeous either way, but blunt bangs hide eyebrows and that really changes people’s faces – it did with me and I was “over” the whole look pretty quick. I have my sideswept bangs cut so I can sort of wear them fuller on my forehead or really sideswept so that offers options. Totally blunt bangs offer no options. And with a toddler and one on the way, girl you need options!
