June 19, 2008 at 8:03 amI love it…that’s the best. What’s so funny is that you gave me the best advice about the sippy cup– that it has to be their idea to start using it…and I guess it finally became Wito’s idea at that time. Okay, and what straw sippy cup did you find? This is my next challenge!

June 19, 2008 at 8:08 amIt is the Munchkin Mighty Grip Straw Cup – BPA-free and doesn’t leak. (Maybe a drip here or there when turned upside down…I can deal with that.)

June 19, 2008 at 9:58 amHi-larious post… mainly because I went through exactly the same thing with Jack. A very wise girl friend of mine gave me some great advice – give him the cup and walk away. Ignore him and let him mess around with it, and I promise you, he will get it. And I did exactly that. And seriously, that is all it took. After days of harassing him about it, I finally left him alone and he figured it out in a matter of minutes.

June 22, 2008 at 1:13 pmI’d been trying to teach my little one how to use a straw for a while and he would not have anything to do with it. Then one morning while out to breakfast with a friend she decided to give him his milk with a straw, even though I had just told her it wouldn’t work, can you guess what happened? He drank right out of that thing like he’d been doing it forever! Of course, my dear friend was very proud of herself for accomplishing in two seconds what I had been trying to do for weeks.
