Snow Bunny Tutorial

I have to admit to being totally sucked into this year’s Winter Olympics. I loved watching all of the skiing, figure skating, speed skating and curling. (Yes, curling. What of it? It’s ADDICTING.)

I’ve only been skiing once in my life, but I am definitely dreaming of a mountain escapade in the near future. Although I may not be a good skiier, I’ll still be able to look the part with Berlin Hair Baby’s Snow Bunny tutorial!

Ahhh, I love Berlin Hair Baby! Sometimes I forget about her, but then I see a video and she reels me in and I end up spending 45 minutes watching tutorial after tutorial. She always has rockin’ hair.

I’m a big fan of wear loose waves with a knit cap when I ski (see gravatar). But, I like the second two for days when I want to pull my hair out of my face.

Thanks for linking to this vid. I’m a snow bunny myself and didn’t think to do the buns.

Another style I do frequently (especially when in the lodge for apres-ski-drinks) is to finger comb thoroughly, as my hair invariably is frizzed out after wool hats, snow and moisture. Then I put in two cute braids, pulling them low by my ear and angled slightly forward. Pair it with a chic hat (i.e. not the ski helmet!) and it looks great. Lip gloss does wonders too.

Those are all super cute styles – and I can actually do them with my current length. Yay!
