Sayonara, Butterfly Tattoo! Part One

See that faded pastel, sad-looking butterfly tattoo on my back? Yep, I’m getting rid of it FOR GOOD.

Thanks to the lovely folks over at South Coast Med Spa, my butterfly tattoo will be a faint memory in the near future. If you feel so inclined, you can get the scoop on this tattoo, as well as all the gory details of my laser removal session earlier this week. (You should watch, if only to witness my sweet laserproof glasses. Oh, and I only used profanity once! Baby steps.)

    I have a butterfly tattoo too. And it’s on my back/hip so I pretend it’s not there.

    Remember the commericals with the Native American man shedding the single, lone tear surveying all the damage that had been done to the land? That’s Mariah Carey every time a butterfly tattoo is removed.

    Thank you so much for sharing this! There just might be a little laser tat removal in my future. And there will def be some laser hair removal! Any idea how it compares to electrolysis?

    This doesn’t seem as scary as I thought it was going to be! I went in for a consultation about 6 years ago and they told me that they probably wouldn’t be able to remove the blues and yellows from my tattoo, so I decided against it. I may look around now and see if a clinic here has the same type of system your clinic used.
