Packaging should be the number 1 selling point when purchasing baby toys.

June 5, 2007 at 8:07 amOh, yes. Sam loooooooves his cardboard boxes.
I’m thinking SAJ has the right idea with the cardboard box parties.

June 5, 2007 at 8:39 amYes that is always how it happens.
Well, at least the packaging keeps them entertained. Right?

June 5, 2007 at 8:39 amBut if you didn’t buy the new toys, you wouldn’t have the o so entertaining packaging…….ponder.

June 5, 2007 at 11:24 amROFL! We have that same little piano table. “Open… CLOSE!”
I love the way the camera pans from toys, to Wito playing with packaging, back to lonely, lonely toys. No narration or exposition needed. :-)
Open….CLOSE! HIGH…lowwwww. Down…UPPP!

June 5, 2007 at 11:47 amtell me you planned that music… “we are all basically alone…” poor toys.
i love that album.
I totally planned it, I’m super cool like that…um, er, yeah…
No I didn’t plan it, but DAMN girl, you’re observant! And yes, Andrew Bird. I love Andrew Bird.

June 5, 2007 at 12:40 pmThis is a pain I know all too well. So much money wasted on fancypants toys of all shapes and sizes (which, by the way, seem to multiply when my back is turned) and what does T love to play with more than anything? Red plastic cups. You know, the ones you buy at Costco that cost about $10 for a trillion? Sigh…I need to sit down, but every available surface is strewn with abandoned toys.

June 5, 2007 at 3:00 pmI heart Andrew Bird, too! Good choice.
My friends’ daughter seems happier unravelling the toilet paper in the bathroom than she does with any of her real toys. Think of the money that could have been saved…

June 5, 2007 at 5:40 pmI just got some Andrew Bird from iTunes. Got any other recommendations? :)
Right now, I’m listening to a lot of Andrew Bird, Regina Spektor, Jessie Baylin and Emiliana Torrini. Let me know what you think! :)

June 10, 2007 at 12:59 pmHaha, so cute. That’s how my cat is. Not that i’m comparing whoorlito to a cat or anything but you know. Dig the music playing in the background!

July 1, 2007 at 9:06 pmso…true…Before our son, Charlie was born I couldn’t figure out why the toys we bought for him were so overly packaged..now I know.
why do we bother spending thousands of dollars on nice, new, shiny, clean, safe toys, when all they want is a box, a dirty shoe, a magazine, or a used doggy chew toy?
By the way, I like the new Andrew Bird album ALMOST as much as his previous release, Mysterious Production of Eggs.
nice work on your videos..hilarious.
