Odds and Ends

5. I didn’t think anything could sway my love for beards, but this may have done it. (Thanks, dad, for raining on my parade.)

6. You’ve probably already read this, but it’s so good. SO DAMN GOOD. We’re almost to the end of the school year, moms. WE CAN DO IT. #sotired

7. These ducks are the cutest thing ever.

8. I’m unnaturally excited to report that Beautycounter finally heard the pleas for a tinted moisturizer with SPF, and it’s here. I tried it on last night and it’s perfection – dewy and lightweight, and it totally evens out my complexion. THANK YOU, BEAUTYCOUNTER.

9. Finally, the first time I read this title, the eye-rolling was intense and uncontrollable. However, I read the post and it really resonated with me…no, not so much the Korean-skincare-curing-depression thing specifically, but how creating a routine that focuses on the present and taking care of yourself helps immensely. It’s worth a read, methinks.

    I heard the bad news about beards….I’m choosing to block it out since I prefer my husband w/a beard :) Also, thanks for the HIIT inspiration! I laugh, though, at the 10 second recovery. I have to do 60 seconds of recovery….I can’t stop the heavy breathing (gasping?) in 10 seconds LOL xo

    I luuuurve the 7 min. workout and have been doing it off and on for a year or so. When I stick to it on a regular basis, I get awesome results.

    Which shade did you try in the dew skin tinted moisturizer? I use linen in the tint skin and can’t decide between fair or light in the dew skin…

    I’ve checked out that 7-minute workout but never actually done it. Just thought about it. With my adrenal fatigue and everything else, I get wiped out just taking a walk so I’m not sure what those 7 minutes would do to me. I’m still curious though.

    Also, do you by any chance know any Beauty Counter consultants in Northern Colorado?

    You’re header image! It’s exactly what I wrote for my mother’s day post today. Being a new mom is hard and sometimes I feel like I’m wishing my days away “it will be better when”. I’m trying to enjoy the little things and live for today.

    The 7 min workout, I wanna try that. I do some on my warm up but not that intense.
