I just got the Necessary Neutrals palette and it’s gorgeous. Despite being 48 years old, I know nothing about eyeshadow. Is there a general rule of thumb for which shades are for the lid, crease, and browbone? Please tell me there’s a rule….

I don’t follow any rules, but the midtones should work best at the crease, dark ones as a liner, and light ones as a browbone highlighter.

From crying at the boy article (my kiddo just turned 13) to laughing at the 20 year olds, what a great list!
