While healing my facial skin from my bout with perioral dermatitis earlier this year, I decided it was the perfect time to cease reviewing facial products and jump into body care. I rounded up all of the PR samples and products from around my house and started a 2-month testing period of tons of soaps, creams, exfoliators, and body oils, and here’s what I found.

Necessaire The Body Essentials Review
Okay okay, let me break this down for you. Three products. Total fixation.
First off, The Body Wash is a daily multi-vitamin cleanser for skin health.
Three luxurious oils – Marula, Cacay, and Meadowfoam – are the perfect combo to nourish and soften skin. And guess what? It has the most luxurious foam (foam is trés important to me) thanks to mild plant-derived surfactants that gently cleanse without stripping or leaving residue.
Did I mention Vitamin B³, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Omega-6, and Omega-9? Yep. It’s all in there. The formula is available in fragrance-free, which is what I have, but you can also purchase it in three pure essential-oil scents: Eucalyptus, Bergamot, and Sandalwood. I’m pretty sure I am going to try all of them.
Next up, The Body Exfoliator is a weekly multi-exfoliation treatment for skin health.
Two methods of exfoliation—chemical and physical—work synergistically to exfoliate, soften, and renew skin: a gentle AHA/BHA trio ( of Glycolic, Lactic, and Salicylic acids) helps to remove dead skin cells, while Pumice and Bamboo Charcoal soften skin without irritation.
Also available in Fragrance-Free, Eucalyptus, Bergamot, and Sandalwood.
To tell you the truth, this is the one product I thought I would be “meh” about. As you will see in the below video, I’m not really one for pots of gritty, oil-based exfoliators that separate in the shower, but this exfoliator is the exact opposite! It squeezes out of the tube (leaving no mess), and the best part? It has a rich lather as well! You can see the product in action in the video below.
Lastly, The Body Lotion is a fast-absorbing yet deeply hydrating multi-vitamin moisturizer for skin health.
This proprietary formula has both immediate and long-term skin benefits and it’s the perfect balance between moisture and absorption. The three same oils as the body wash (Marula, Cacay, and Meadowfoam) infuse skin with vitamins and immediately moisturize and soften the skin. Niacinamide helps to restore and strengthen the skin’s surface for a healthy glow.
All in all, my skin’s tone, texture, and firmness have visibly improved with this non-irritating and non-sensitizing trio of goodness which you can purchase here!
