There are no words for how sorry I am…sending you my thoughts, prayers and love. Maddie’s story has changed lives and will have an impact on many people for years to come. Sending you big hugs…I am so, so, so deeply sorry…xoxoxoxoxo

Absolutely heartbroken when I saw this update from Maddie’s Foundation this morning.
Sending thoughts of comfort to you and Maddie’s family…and hugging my six year old a little harder today.
This is not what I expected to see this morning. Thoughts and prayers to your whole family, Sarah. Please let us know how they’re doing and any way we can all help. I’m so sorry.
Oh, Sarah. My heart goes out to you, and to Maddie’s parents, and to everyone who knows her and will miss her lovely smiling face. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Any little thing.
I had been following Maddie’s Caring Bridge updates since you share her amazing story with us and was broken-hearted when I read she was gone. I was so touched by her spirit and her family’s love from the first moment I “met” them.
This morning, I stopped by a different Starbuck’s on the way to work and had to smile – a local artist was featured and all of her paintings featured sea turtles. An amazing coincidence since I don’t live in a seaside city.
