Well, seven years after having my first child, we decided to have some family photos taken. (Can you believe that? I have no idea why we waited so long.)
We enlisted Cary Holton, who is a mega talented lifestyle photographer. She had quite a challenge on her hands, though. Known for capturing authentic moments in clients’ homes, our family was half a country away from ours while visiting Oklahoma this summer so we had to do some brainstorming as to where to shoot. We chose Kaisers for some ice cream and then downtown at sunset. I am so so happy with the photos. Here are some of my favorites.

October 17, 2013 at 2:46 pm1 – My favorite part has to be the long-suffering-big-brother look in the sixth shot.
2 – That last shot? Gorgeous.
3 – You know Wita’s eyes are RIDICULOUS, right? My goodness.

October 17, 2013 at 4:04 pmYES! #6 is my favorite of the lot because that is just SO their relationship. Wita has a perfect, practically untouched sundae yet she STILL goes for Wito’s. Poor guy. ;)
(Thanks for the compliments.)
