Oh boy, do I have a new line for you. Have you heard of INIKA Organic?
INIKA was launched in 2006 with a singular mission: to create beautiful makeup without questionable ingredients. Based out of Melbourne, Australia, INIKA products are 100% natural and over two-thirds of the range is Certified Organic. Made from the finest botanicals and minerals – chosen for quality, tested for purity and checked for safety. All products are cruelty-free, toxin-free, vegan and environmentally friendly. INIKA’s philosophy is to create beautiful, healthy, high performing makeup that gives you a flawless look. And yeah, I think they can confidently stand by that claim!
So, my initial interest in INIKA sparked when my girl Lisa told me their BB Cream and mascara were tops in her book. Now, I trust Lisa’s opinions something fierce, so I set out to try some for myself.
The funny thing is that they have been out of my shade of the BB Cream, so I haven’t tried it yet! However, that didn’t stop me from trying some other products from the line, namely the Day-to-Night Eye Palette, the Baked Mineral Bronzer, and the Long Lash Mascara.
Now, you know I love my Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel (just search the name in my sidebar and you’ll see…), HOWEVER, there has been an issue with the product being out of stock most places. Now, the Per-fekt team has assured me that the mascara is not being discontinued, but I don’t know exactly what’s up. And hey, I’m always game to try a new mascara.
HOLY EYELASHES you guys. This mascara is insane! Length, volume, no smudging, no flaking. It is a dream and I might be breaking up with Per-fekt. Take a look for yourself.
Yeah. That’s ONE COAT. And I’ve been using it for about a week now and no weird issues have popped up. Obsessed is an understatement.
But that’s not all. Have you seen this limited edition Day-to-Night Eye Palette, pictured above? Bronze, chocolate browns, warm pinks and plums, oh my. Now, I’m a neutral/cool-toned gal, and these colors are not what I usually go for, but they actually work on me, so both warm and cool-toned types would love this one.
Coupled with the mascara and the Baked Mineral Bronzer in Sunkissed, I was digging on this look. (The palette comes with this awesome booklet with many different looks to achieve with the shades – this one was the sunset smoky eye.) Also, the Sunkissed bronzer is very subtle with no sheen or sparkle, and I would imagine would work on many skin tones, including very fair.
The lip color is On Pointe lip stain by Au Naturale Cosmetics, which I will be posting some of my favorites by Au Naturale very soon! Oh, and also, since I didn’t have the BB Cream to try, I used the Vapour Luminous Foundation Stick in 115, which is catapulting to the top of my list lately. (Don’t you love when you find a foundation that matches your skin tone exactly? AND IS IN STICK FORM? #praisebe)
All in all, I really love all three of these products, but man, the mascara is beyond. For real. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a holiday gift of the mascara and the palette and have fun creating all sorts of looks!
INIKA is carried at The Choosy Chick, which carries some of my favorite brands out there. If you are feeling the need to pull the trigger, use the code WHOORL to get 10% off your purchase. As always, hit me up with any questions in the comments!

December 12, 2017 at 1:36 pmI’ve been looking for a green mascara since my semi-green one is about to run out. This looks awesome! Did you get the mascara in black or brown?

December 12, 2017 at 4:53 pmThis is an amateur question, but how do you blend and apply stick foundation? And, how does a foundation brush come into play with foundations? Still learning…

December 12, 2017 at 5:39 pmNot amateur at all! The Vapour foundation, although a stick form, isn’t dry at all. It has a luminous finish and is very hydrating so I just apply the stick directly to my face (I make a few stripes around my face), and then blend it with my fingers or a brush in a stippling motion, depending on my mood.

December 13, 2017 at 6:54 pmI like Gressa foundation in 2.5 but I often find it messy or like I have too much and get a whiter look. Even with the oil, I find it “sits” on my face in a strange way so I thought maybe I would try a brush or I wasn’t doing it right. Maybe a stick would be just right!

December 12, 2017 at 7:48 pmI’ve been so bummed I can’t find Perfekt in stock! I’ve tried so many others and they just don’t cut it…can’t wait to try this one! Thank you!
P.S. I think you meant Au Naturale instead of Antonym for the lip stain. I have Marsala and Hero, and have been eyeing On Pointe. Might have to finally bite the bullet!

December 18, 2017 at 9:00 amThank you so much for the suggestion on the mascara! I received it last week and it is such a great replacement!
And the On Pointe is like my lip color, but better :)

January 3, 2018 at 11:40 pmI’ve been trying the Inika mascara and am having trouble with it flaking and smudging. Have you had any problems now that you’ve been using it longer? I’ve tried a whole lot of mascaras (easily several dozen, mostly non-green before I made the big switch), and I’ve never had issues like the ones I’m having with this one. It is a bummer because I really like how the Inika looks initially. I was a huge Perfekt fan and am so sad it seems to be gone
