In Love With Lip Balm Pencils

Once in a blue moon, a product comes along that just steals my jaded heart. Naturally, I felt the need to make a video about it. (I was very excited in the video, hence the ridiculously flushed cheeks. Excitement + sheer fuchsia blush = Hobo Clown. Sorry about that.)

The product? Well, there are two. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain and Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm. (Chubby stick? Really? I mean, the name delights my 14-year-old boy sense of humor and all, but I can’t believe that name made it all the way down the pipeline.)

Here are the colors I spoke about it in the video, plus a few more that I’ve bought since filming. I CAN’T STOP.

Have you tried these lip stain pencils? They are the balm. (Haha, get it? The BALM? Gah, I crack myself up.)

Ok, you crack me up! And I totally thought the same thing about the chubby stick. Glad I’m not alone on that one. And geez, I’ve already bought three lip butters since your last video so I guess now I know what I’ll be picking up on my daily trip to Target today. Thanks alot Sarah. ;) The Just Bitten in Honey looks like my perfect everyday color. Can’t wait to try it.

I love these. I have them in three colours, and I’m not even normally a lipstick person. They moisturizer without being greasy and stay put.

The colors and coverage look so similar between the two products, and for half the price, I’m all over trying the revlon! Did you notice any major difference between the two products (ie. stickiness, long-wearing, moisturizing, etc?).

Please stop posting these product videos – I can’t afford all of your fantastic recommendations!!

After your last video I went out and bought the Revlon Lip Butter and also picked up Colorburst in Orchid (love it!).

I want to be your friend who gets all of your beauty product hand-me-downs!!

p.s. I am so in love with your recommendation for They’re Real! mascara; I don’t wear mascara a lot so it usually goes bad after just a few uses so I started buying the sample size from eBay and it works perfectly for me!

I am excited to pick up a Revlon stick and check it out! My most recent lip obsession is the Sonia Kashuk sheer lip color. Yes, the Target brand make up. They are fantastic. I have sheet berry and sheer pink lust (like the honey above). They are sheer, but have great pigmentation with great color. Best part – they aren’t sticky. Check em’ out.

First, I love the Kate Spade wallet! Second, I am lucky to live in Southern California, so I don’t have to winterize too much. What you’ll find in my bag during winter is a crinkled up cardigan for layering when the weather is colder, and last week I found a random wool glove, after that cold snap we had (oh, and baby socks of course, my son will never keep them on his feet! ;)).

What a great video! Your personality really shines through. You make beauty products seem so fun (for this helpless beauty product woman).

Would you ever consider doing some recommendations of lip color that is organic/natural?
