One of my best friends emailed a link to me a couple of days ago. The only correspondence she included was,
“This reminds me of you and your sister in high school”
I guess I have to agree- besides the fact that we aren’t male, Asian or Yao Ming fans, the performance is eerily similar to our Performance Art from days of yore.

December 14, 2005 at 11:36 amOh, my god, where do I start? That was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I think the best part is the guy in the background just working away his computer while these guys lip-sync their hearts out. He must be used to them. And I never knew that a slightly-grown-out buzz cut could yield such strength when head thrashing to throw off the handband!
All I have to say is that I definitely have to see you and your sister the next time you’re doing karaoke!

December 14, 2005 at 1:37 pmBrian,
You are so right, the Aicha video is the scariest thing I have ever seen. The Asian backstreet boys are the funny kind of funny; while the Aicha video is the SAD kind of funny.
Oh my God, that kid needs therapy. ;)

December 14, 2005 at 11:35 amAny Wednesday doldrums are officially cured. That was HILARIOUS! My favorite choreography was the criss-crossing heads. Seriously funny stuff.
Oh, and the guy in the background not noticing any of this! What’s up with that guy? You’d better believe that I’m going to be paying a whole lot more attention to my co-workers from now on. I could be missing some good stuff.

December 14, 2005 at 12:20 pmUm…wow. It makes me scared to ever visit an Asian country.
I think it comes 2nd in scariest video to the Aicha music video.
But maybe that’s just because I’m more comfortable with Asians.

December 15, 2005 at 3:38 pmI love it! I hadn’t seen it and I must say it reminds of the days when my friends and I used to make “music videos” when we were little.
