Hotheads Extensions are RAD

I totally forgot to tell you all that I put in a few Hotheads extensions into my hair a couple of months ago.

I know what you’re thinking – Sarah just can’t live without long hair, but actually, I didn’t use the extensions for length. I used them for HIGHLIGHTS. How awesome is that idea? I had been toying around with the idea of an ombre look, so we placed a few lighter colors throughout to create an ombre effect (darker at the top with lighter ends) without permanently lightening my ends.

If you aren’t into coloring and/or highlighting your hair, extensions could be the way to go! Check out the beautiful highlights the extensions created in my brunette hair.

Tera used a mixture of dark blonde and light brown pieces to create that awesome color variation.

I put together a super quick video showing part of the experience for you all!

Hmmmm… I don’t dye my hair either and this might be a fun way to switch it up! Wonder if my new stylist could do this… Thanks for the cute video and idea!

You have totally awesome hair! What a fun quick change. You’re so cute–like Kristin Davis, but cuter!

I had this done to my real hair about 2 years ago, but this seems like a much less traumatizing option! :P

I recommend it if you want to lighten your hair but don’t want to deal with any upkeep/ aren’t sure whether you want to do bleach all the ends of your hair.

(P.S. The lasting power and lack of maintenance of these kinds of highlights is amazing. I literally have not colored my hair this whole time and it still has the same look.)

I have very thin hair and oily scalp. I have the hotheads extentions and what they call hairware (a cap with tabs) on the top. While I love them, the cap will not stay on. My stylist called the company and they say that due to my oily scalp I need a special glue in addition to the tabs. It should be in by Wednesday. If there’s any other advice out there, I would love to read it. Shampoo suggestions?

I have been using these extensions for the past year in the Salon in Vero Beach Florida, and I love them and so do my clients. They are the best!

I have been working with hair extensions since 1989 and import high quality hair. This is a wonderful way to make thin hair thicker, short hair longer or just change your look for a season. Check us out – Kontrolled Chaos Hair Extensions by KNicholBeauty.com
