hair thursday makeover 15

December 31st – under the wire! I don’t have much time to wax poetic, as I’m flying back to California today.

(DVD battery IS charged this time, thankyouverymuch.)

Lovely Caroline.

Caroline’s hair is baby fine and she has beautiful eyes. What about these options? Both would look great with her hair color, as well as her face shape.

Next up: Stephanie.

Stephanie’s fine hair has a gorgeous natural color (DON’T CHANGE IT!), and she prefers to keep it above her shoulders. Sounds like a perfect candidate for a Pob (Posh bob), as shown in Option #1. (Not blond, of course. And how hard is it to find a decent photo of that bob? Sheesh.) Although, Option #2 would look lovely if she wants to add a little length and keep the bangs.

This concludes the 2007 volumes of Hair Thursday. THANK SWEET JEBUS.

Happy New Year!

I want a Posh Bob SO BADLY. But my hairdresser said it requires frequent upkeep, and I’m more the “every 6-8 MONTHS” type of salon visitor.

Oh, the woes of the Posh Bob (Or semi Posh Bob, on my part). I love, Love LOVE my Hair Thursday do – LOVE IT! But I find myself wanting a cut every 3-4 weeks. Yeah. I said it. 3-4 weeks. I last got it cut the Monday before Thanksgiving and am already feeling about 2 weeks overdue. Yikes!

For Caroline, I think her hair may be TOO fine for the option 2 cut. I think the actress in the picture’s hair is too fine to pull it off — or at least on that show she’s on, it’s styled poorly. Maybe with some volumizing products. (I have no idea what I’m talking about because I have the thickest, waviest, volum-iest hair ever, but that girl’s hair bugs me. It’s a cute idea but doesn’t work on her.)

i like #2 for stephanie.. a little more fun, and not as severe as the pob. (ha. pob.)

I’ve been watching the #2 actress in the first selection since she was a teen on Nickelodeon in ‘Fifteen” in the early 90’s to Dead Like Me on Showtime, and her hair is always an issue.

I think she has the thinest, baby-fine hair I’ve ever seen on a person. Her hair now is a pretty big improvement over some of the things they’ve tried to pull off with her over the years.

I think it would be a cute cut for Caroline.

P.S. You would have to live in the salon for Posh’s bob, but if I had thicker, less wavy hair I would do it in a SECOND. Sigh…

I used to watch Fifteen too and I always think of that show when I see her in something (like the good girl turned seriously bad during a season of 24).
