Holly sent in some great tips for creating waves overnight.
1. Rub Organix Coconut Milk Mousse, which is a mousse/leave-in conditioner hybrid, into damp hair. (Yet another Organix recommendation!)
2. Twist hair into a bun
3. Take the bun out in the morning and shake out the waves
4. Spray upside down then again right side up with Aussie Mega hairspray
5. Finish off any scruffy bits with a little bit of Fructis wax
Holly calls it “deliberate bedhead.” I call it gorgeous. Thanks for sending in your tip, Holly!

August 26, 2009 at 7:05 amI have tried that oh so many times, my hair ends up in chaos, unfixable without fully wetting it chaos.
I wished it worked like it does for her!

August 26, 2009 at 8:23 amThis sounds awesome. I fear though that my hair would never dry till I took it out, then it would pouf and frizz. I hate having so much hair. I might have to try it anyway.

August 26, 2009 at 9:04 amI agree; I’ve tried this numerous times (I’m not a quitter :) but I have so much hair that it’s still wet in the morning and I’m basically doing my hair all over again. I have to add more product or wet it down and either try to go fully wavy with a diffuser or try to then get it straight. It’s for someone who doesn’t have a ton of thick hair, but that’s great it works for her.

September 2, 2009 at 12:58 amWooow that is cool! I have a different question – how can I straighten my curly hair without constantly destroying the hair structure? Somebody recommended me to use curly hair
… do you have any experience with that?
Thanks guys!
