Easter Panic!

Happy Easter.

I just accidentally erased every single feed on my Google Reader. (200+ blogs.)

Years of finding great writers and POOF! Gone into the black night.

(breathing into a paper sack)

((Would it be poor form to compare Jesus rising from the dead to my Google Reader reincarnation? You know, like a new start? Free from past sins of the fathers?))

(((Going to pray for forgiveness.)))

Do I read your blog? Should I read your blog? What blogs do you love? Suggestions? (Seriously, don’t be shy. This is a desperate call for ASSISTANCE.)

Oh, YIKES! I would have a heart attack. I’m around 160 and there is no way I’d remember all of them.

If you’re not already, you should be reading Holly at Nothing but Bonfires, she is fabulous! And Fabulously Broke in the City, Chirky, Dooce, Amalah, Thirty Before 30, My Big Fat Italian Life… these are all favourites of mine. I also love Brazen Careerist and Meg Fowler. Good luck refilling your feed reader!

I thought the title of this post was “Easter Picnic.” And I read it and kept waiting for the “picnic” protion of the program to be described.

You don’t want to read my blog. I am a moron.

Wow, apparently I don’t read enough blogs, because I’m only at the 55 mark. It explains why I am always the last to hear of any Web Fracas, though.

I don’t know that my blog is worth reading. Once in awhile I write something sort of brilliant, but in between… let’s just say there’s an awful lot of blathering about things that probably nobody cares about.

Go read Bella at http://beyondthemap.blogspot.com/. She is brilliant all the time.

You could read me, not so much of a commitment I only update a couple times a week…. but seriously – I am more interested to see who people recommend.

I personally believe that Jesus is laughing at your comparison. Because He has a sweet sense of humour. He also liked wine.

I think you and I read a lot of the same people, so my “Fantastic Finds” (Of which you are one. Obviously.) on my link page may be of assistance.

Wow, that sucks…Sometimes I get so overwhelmed that I think losing all of them might be sort of a relief, but who am I kidding? I’d be freaking out, too. So sorry.

*UPDATE* I currently have my new and improved reader up to 48 feeds. (My links page came in VERY handy, you see.)

I think this was a blessing in disguise. A little spring cleaning is good!

How did you do that? I’d like to know so I never do it.
    I’m so sorry…
I’m pretty sure you don’t read my blog, but I’ve been reading yours for a while now. I like it.
    Good luck!

I once erased my entire feeds on purpose to clear out some of the blogs I don’t read at all. I reentered everything from memory. It was actually kind of interesting to find out what I actually do read compared to what I had in my feeds.

I’m pretty sure you don’t read my blog either. But thats ok… I use my favorites folder in Safari, but I am too lazy to transfer them over to Firefox, which works a lot better. Maybe it is time for some spring cleaning of my own…

    :)

Pathetically, I’m using Bloglines, but if that happened . . . I would be sitting at my computer staring at Yahoo thinking, “I know there was more than this on here.”

Good luck getting your list back!
