Double Duty Beauty

Oh lovely ladies, I have a question for you. I’m filming a segment later this month entitled “Double Duty Beauty,” and need your fab suggestions. Basically, I’d love to hear about any products you have in your home that serve two purposes in regards to beauty. For instance, using coconut oil to cook with AND to shave your legs. (Not at the same time, hopefully.) Or using lip balm to moisturize dry elbows and heels. Using a flat iron to iron your clothes…you get my drift.

Leave a comment here or forever hold your peace! Thank you in advance.

I save the coffee grounds from morning pots of coffee and add either organic extra-virgin olive oil or jojoba oil to them to create a twice-a-week exfoliator for body and face. Caffeine is said to stimulate the skin, reduce puffiness, and create an all over glow. (You can always add your favorite essential oil for a lovely scent. Geranium rocks!)

I also use tea bags (black or chamomile) after they’ve been brewed. I pop them in the freezer for ten minutes (or so) and once removed, place them on my eyes for a soothing treatment.

fragrance free neutrogena “norwegian formula” hand cream!! I carry it in my purse and use it as both a hand cream AND lip balm. It doesn’t feel like lotion at all on the lips. And it works BETTER than lipbalm.
