Colds and Hair Tutorials

I just completed
my Hair Thursday video
A couple months late

It has taken me
an embarrassingly long
time to edit it

However, not my
fault, iMovie08 is
devil incarnate

Once I switched back to
iMovieHD, it was
easier than pie

Guess what I’m doing
on New Year’s Eve? Swigging tons
of Nyquil, damn cold

Of course, I will not
swig Nyquil because I have
huge control issues

I would rather writhe
in pain than take drugs, thanks to
my pharma career

What are you doing
for New Year’s Eve? Please do tell
Vicariously

    Oh, Whoorl, I love an
    Excuse to haiku, even
    Sharing lame-o plans.

    The husband and I
    Are staying home, watching Sports
    Night
    on DVD.

    But! He’s making ribs
    For dinner, which qualifies
    As a party, right?

    The fridge is packed with
Stuff like mini hot dogs and
    Pizza rolls because

    Our friends are coming
Over to watch the Rose Bowl.
    Yes, we are Penn State!

I feel your pain…I actually WAS swigging NyQuil on Christmas. I’m better now, but our only plans are having root beer floats (our tradition since the early years of our marriage) and maybe watching Iron Man. Can you stand the excitement?

    I almost wish I
was sick. New Year’s is not my
    favorite day, yo.

    It’s like amateur
hour and I’m a pro drinker.
    Plus, too expensive.

Happy New Year to the Whoorl family!

I just stumbled across your site! I could SO use some hair advice! I am bored with it…ok really I am trying to grow it out and currently have a mix between a mullet and a rat tail going on in the back. Maybe not that dramatic. Still. It is bad.

    No plans New Year’s Eve
    Since we’re driving to Dallas
    January first

    Off to Cotton Bowl
Cheer for the Ole Miss Rebels:
    Win the Cotton Bowl!

Staying in. Having some friends over to celebrate. Doing the whole east coast new year’s for the kids so we can get them to bed. They don’t know the difference, even though we live in Cali. Heck, I bet nowadays you could just youtube the darn ball dropping in Time’s Square and make ANY day New Year’s Eve.

Also, I would so love more stories from your pharma days. Or are those off-limits? Just would be interested in your no-drugs policy. Saw too much first-hand, did ya?

I did have plan but like you I am now sick and that awful green fluid will now be my drink of choice for the evening. Maybe I’ll have enough energy to walk to Starbuck’s to get a nice hot latte to burn the evil sore throat.

    off to a party
    that isn’t really a real
    party, if you will…

    decided new years was lame
    and would rather hang

    also a potluck
    hope my tater dish doesn’t
    suck too hard oh well

    that is what the booze
    is for, right? prosecco here
    i come. hugs to all!
