Calling All Nursing Fashion Aficionados!

Yes, I still adore my Target nursing tanks, BUT I would love to find some nursing tops that have more coverage than a spaghetti strap on top. A tank with more shoulder coverage? A short sleeve top? A crossover top that doesn’t stretch out? ANYTHING?

I don’t mind wearing a regular shirt and hoisting it up around the house, but pulling up my shirt in public places (even with my nursing cover) leaves my back exposed and it drives me crazy. (Layering isn’t an option right now because it’s too hot.)

I like this for Fall, but we still have a couple months of heat around here.

$34.50, Gap

Any suggestions? I got excited about this simple, inexpensive top from Old Navy until I realized that the straps were spaghetti-width in the back. How does that work with a bra exactly? (Uh, it doesn’t.)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

(UPDATE: I’m checking out all of your suggestions, but just found these cute henleys on final sale for $12.99 from J. Crew. They look a little low in the front, so pairing them with a nursing tank might be key. Bought three colors! Get ’em while you can!)

(YET ANOTHER UPDATE: If you are looking for some tanks, Zulily has up to 70% off nursing wear from GLAMOURMOM!)

the boob tops are wonderful. i bought 6-8 of them. yeah, i know. expensive! but i lived in them for 2 years.
anyways… i got the most use out of the tanks. i wore them alone but also with a variety of cardigans or other types of shirts that can be opened in the front or easily pulled up. lots of looks, less money.
    go boobs!

i wore a lot of deep-v neck t-shirts over tank tops. it was great since i didn’t have to buy nursing gear & covered better than a lot of nursing gear. just pull up the tank. voila! coverage & not-so-horribly-fashioned.

This isn’t entirely related, but I didn’t know if you’d heard that J.Crew is launching their Outlet store online soon. I knew you were a fan of both the store and online shopping, so I thought that’d be up your alley. :)
