Anne Hathaway’s Pixie

While we’re on the subject of hair, can I express just how badly I want Anne Hathaway’s pixie cut? I’ve been thinking about this long and hard, and here are my thoughts on the matter.

Reasons why I should go for Anne Hathaway’s pixie cut.

1. It is something completely unexpected for me.

2. It would be a breeze to style. Can you imagine how much time I would save?

3. I could have my own Audrey Tatou moment in time.

4. It’s very rare to see a pixie cut where I live. I mean, it’s ORANGE COUNTY, the land of double process and hair extensions.

5. D is totally on board.

Reasons why I should not go for Anne Hathaway’s pixie cut.

1. I don’t look like Anne Hathaway.

Unfortunately, I think we have a winner, folks.

Thoughts? Would you ever cut a pixie?

You could totally pull it off! Anne Hathaway is basically your celebrity doppelganger

Bust out your pixie portfolio – I’m interviewing! (Hahaaa okay, maybe not, but I kind of feel like I need to.)

Go for it!!! I think you would look great. Maybe a pixie more like Ginnifer Goodwin if you’re nervous. Either way, it’s hair, it will grow back. =0)

I vote for no. You have beautiful hair and it would be a shame.

You are just as beautiful – maybe more beautiful – than Anne Hathaway! The pixie cut would look darling on you. But I think you would regret it. You have amazing hair. (I have almost-pixie short hair, and I love it, but if I could pull it off, I would rock your long locks.)

You’re so gorgeous, you could TOTALLY pull this off. The funny part? I always end up showing my stylist your current haircut:) You’ll look amazing no matter what. I think your beauty radiates from within.

you’ve definitely got the looks to pull it off but you seem more like a long-haired gal frankly. Try out a wig for a while maybe?

Do it do it do it. It would look so awesome on you. I have had hair this short and I, in NO WAY, look like a movie star but it’s so easy and so fun. Really fun and worth it once in your life. xo

We’re on the same page. Well, nearish. I’ve been considering going super short, too. I’m all on board until I see someone with beautifully styled long hair and then I convince myself I’ll put in the effort long hair takes. (I won’t)

I say go for it! I’ve had both long and short. A pixie is really fun and now that I’m in the process of growing mine out sometimes I want it back. Make sure you have a good stylist and I highly recommend some texture cream and/or wax if you don’t already have it. It always looks cute and it is so easy to style. Downsides are it is hard to go out with un-done hair; at least my pixie cut bed head did not look good! No up-do’s either. But so much less maintenance and it makes it fun to play with different earrings and other jewelry. Click my link to see my bridal pixie. Your hair will grow back, go for it!

You know I am a devoted pixie girl, and I love love love all the incarnations of Anne Hathaway’s crop, AND I think you would look fab with short hair. But I feel compelled to add a wee bit of warning about daily maintenance: the wash-and-go pixie is rarely actually wash-and-go, particularly with the longer crown and bangs. I keep mine crazy short because once it’s longer than about three inches I have to blow dry and flat iron to get it to look right. Which may not be a deal breaker for you — its not like it takes me more than a few minutes to do all that. I’m just saying.

Also? The pixie is PERFECT for running. So easy!!!

How about half way, blunt bob with blunt bangs? So not oc!

Someone else already has dibs on that haircut in this family. ;) It’s all or nothing for me.

I think you would look fabulous with a pixie a la Anne Hathaway. However, if I had your gorgeous hair I would never cut it off! I vote no.
