Last Mother’s Day, I was seven months pregnant and experienced the joys of Foot, Hand and Mouth disease a la Makenna. That was Makenna’s going away present from her brief stint in daycare. ‘It’s just not for sheep anymore!’ Holy shit. I thought ear infections were bad. We didn’t catch it from her, but enduring her pain and high temperature was torture for all.
So on that note, have a Happy first Mother’s Day! :)

May 10, 2007 at 3:46 pmOh, I’ve been there, sister. Poor Wito (and you)! My best piece of advice (besides drinking heavily) is to put him to sleep in his stroller (i.e., partially sitting up). He’ll sleep better, and it’ll allow the fluid in his ears drain faster. Hope he’s feeling better soon.
