A Must-See for Downton Abbey Fans

It’s no secret that I’m a huge Downton Abbey fan. In fact, instead of being a normal fan who waits until Sundays to watch the next new episode on PBS, I scour the internet looking for the episodes (which have already run in the UK), and watch them on my laptop. In bed. Maybe 2 or 3 hour-long episodes IN A ROW. D thinks I’ve lost it.

So, what I’m trying to tell you is…I’ve seen all of Season 2 and I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WITH LADY MARY AND MATTHEW.

If you love the show as much as I do, you must watch this. I can so relate. Happy weekend!

Okay that made me CRACK up. I just sent this link to my husband Tim (who I just found out went to school with you!) and we are both laughing. Awesome. LOVE Downton Abbey! (Does anyone else think Mr. Bates looks a little like a turtle?)

What? That’s crazy! Tell him I said hello!

(And yes, Bates TOTALLY looks like a turtle, now that you mention it…)

The actor that plays Bates is also fantastic in the BBC presentation of Elizabeth Gaskell’s “North & South”. If any of you are looking for another period piece to immerse yourself in, I highly recommend it!

I did not know the other season 2 episodes were out there…now I am on a hunt online. Even my 5 yr old is into it (calls it the Castle show with all the princesses).

I’m very late to the Downton bandwagon, but I’m so very glad I finally got on board! I LOVE IT, TOO. I still have the last episode before Sunday’s finale to watch this weekend, and I’m SOO looking forward to it.

Darcy and I plowed through the first season in one day and then were hungry for more immediately. It’s a highlight of our Sunday and I don’t want it to end ever! It will crush me like the end of Deadwood did.

I never saw Deadwood. Was it fantastic?

Deadwood is SO fantastic, but didn’t end properly. Those HBO bastards were supposed to make two movies to wrap it up and they didn’t for some reason…

If you’re in the mood for cowboy boots, pistols, whores and some F-bombs (just a FEWWWW!), check out Deadwood.

Oh, and Timothy Olyphant is SO delicious.

    Yes! That is so me.

And I caught up, too. SO I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, TOO! (No really, I had to catch up and watch them all. Christmas Special, you were so perfect)

      Christmas Special rocked my world.

Where do you watch these episodes? I ask because I’m currently on my way to an exciting weekend getaway, but all I’m thinking about is how I forgot to set the damn DVR to record the season finale on Sunday! (also, racking my brain over who I can call and ask to go to my apt and set up a recording for me. Pathetic!)

I will be forced to kill anyone who ruins Season 2 for me :)

I watched it via Expat Shield—amazing invention. I liked it, but liked the first season better. The Christmas special was the best!!

Haaaaaaaaa….That video is ah-mazing. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW. (I have to wait on others to watch new episodes. Thus am several eps behind you in Season Two. Paaainful. I need a serious marathon to catch up in time for Sunday finale!)

I don’t watch Downton, but this was brilliant. Maybe now I should tune in?!

The video is awesome! I love how I can tell what part they are seeing based on their reactions. I have a friend coming over on Monday to watch the newest two episodes. One has been sitting on my DVR since Monday and I haven’t watched it. It taunts me.

    I can’t wait for season 3!

I love that video. It reminds me if my sister and I. I love Downtown Abbey, but am so behind. I still have not finished season one.
