ABLE Upping the Ante

I’ve been a huge fan of ABLE for years. I have accrued many of their scarves over the past few years (psst – this is one of my very favorite scarves of all time), but up until recently, my purchases have been accessories-heavy.

However, now? Scarves are just an itty bitty component of the ABLE collection. We’re talking jewelry, bags, shoes, and oh yes, apparel. If I’m totally honest here, when I heard about the launch of apparel, I wasn’t sure if it would be up my alley, but HELLO, can we talk about this ensemble?

They are so flattering and yet ridiculously comfortable at the same time. A rarity, in my opinion. And the paprika pop of this tee is so fun…the material feels almost like a thin sweatshirt. Love it.

Speaking of tees, I’ve been singing the praises of this ringer tee for months.

I wear it all the time, and I’m hot after the mustard yellow version as well.

These earrings are gorgeous.

And it doesn’t stop there. Bags, bags, bags, my friends. Tote-wise, I have two in my collection. First, this lovely nude pink tasseled gorgeousness.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m a complete sucker for a good nude pink shade (which is actually not the easiest to find!), and this bag fits the bill perfectly. 100% supple leather and the perfect size to throw everything in for a day out and about.

The above bag is great for running errands around the city, but for traveling and/or toting my computer around, this bag is my favorite. The key, for me, is all the pockets and the zipper top. Keeps me super organized while traipsing around airports. I have the cognac color and it goes with everything.

Some really lovely items, yes? Well, not half as lovely as this company’s mission, which is ending generational poverty by working with women who have often overcome extraordinary circumstances. They manufacture directly in the communities they wish to impact, both locally and globally, creating jobs and ending the cycle of charity dependency. Through your purchase, you are able to empower women and give them a job with dignity.

ABLE has seen tremendous support over the years, growing from producing a single collection of hand-woven scarves to now offering leather goods, hand-made jewelry, apparel, and footwear. Whether your purchase is produced in Ethiopia, Mexico, Peru or at the headquarters in Nashville, TN, each item has one thing in common: through working with women, it is leading all of us a step closer to the end of generational poverty.

I truly am such a fan of this company for so many reasons. Hope you will become a fan too!
