Odds and Ends

1. Is mindfulness meditation a capitalist tool or a path to enlightenment? A lengthy read, but so worth it.

2. Has your monthly cycle gone whack this month? Might have to do with the eclipse…

3. Another study proves that front-loading your calories in the morning jumpstarts your metabolism and prevents obesity. #bigbreakfastsFTW

4. We just started using a Berkey to filter our water and love it. My thoughts here if you are interested.

5. Millenials and Gen Xers are refusing to inherit their parents’ stuff, and Goodwill can’t handle it.

6. You all, the Green Beauty movement isn’t just fluff. Conventional personal care products can be incredibly harmful.

7. Speaking of green beauty, I am really loving this brand new foundation. It’s like everything I’ve been looking for in one bottle. (Also this highlighting blush is everything. Perfect sheen – not glittery or sparkly at all. If you want to try, don’t forget my code whoorl10 for 10% off your order at Citrine!)

8. “Maybe my introversion is just a symptom of extreme exhaustion.” Ha, I’m feeling this.

9. Even supporters had to walk away after 75 minutes of his rambling. Not fine, people.

10. Pet brothers from another mother. I CANNOT TAKE THE CUTENESS.

11. So the opposite of addiction is not sobriety. It is human connection. This read blew my mind.

12. This is the only way I’ll camp. Seriously, don’t even ask.

Have a fantastic weekend!

I notice with Citrine links, and maybe it is just me, that they always go to the homepage and then I don’t know the product you are loving. Not a major problem but I was curious?

I have the same issue whenever a post links to a Citrine-listed product.

Hey guys! Thanks for pointing that out. It should go directly to the product…it shows that it does when I click on it. Let me ask, are you on a phone or computer?

I love Citrine products but their site is horrible.. I am unable to access the products through your links in Chrome, Edge, or IE on a computer. I get a wonky page; this is what the description displays, regardless of the product: ${{RELATEDPRODUCTS[ID].PRICING.SALESPRICE
Occasionally, it will work in Firefox but not always.
When I finally can get to the product into my cart, I cannot check out without at least five tries

I am done struggling to purchase something from their site, which is too bad for them as I would spend money each month there….I will have to spend my money at other sites.
Thank you for providing other sites!

I’m so bummed to hear that, Sheila! I am going to forward your comment their way so they can look into it. I’ve never had an issue purchasing products (and I buy a lot, ha!), but I have had some problems accessing my profile to check for points and such. I know they just had a big site refresh so maybe are trying to work out the kinks and such, so I bet they will appreciate this. Thanks for speaking up!

Funny you mention the ordering because the last promotion they held, I had to email three times and eventually call and finally order over the phone, meaning Speaking to someone, for the same reason! The upside I am less inclined to spend a lot when I have to hear myself order it out loud! Thanks!
