Seasonal Beauty Discovery – Vapour Beauty

vapour1

(Let’s see how many parentheticals I can use in one blog post. Ready, set, GO!)

You know how I feel about Beauty Heroes (it’s the best, I learn about so many new products/brands, the value is insane, yadda yadda yadda, etc, etc, etc), BUT Beauty Heroes just got so much better in my book. Well, why, you ask? Because they have added a seasonal beauty discovery to the rotation. (Squueeeeee!)

Up until this point, Beauty Heroes’ main focus has been skincare (which I love as well, don’t get me wrong, peeps), yet, you know how much I love my makeup, right? (I really love makeup.)

So! Let me introduce to you this fabulous beauty discovery by Vapour. (You have to get this. I am serious.)

First, a full-sized bottle of the Stratus Soft Focus Skin Perfector in S904.

This stuff is magic. I really have no other way to describe it. It smoothes texture, softens lines and gives the most lovely glow to the face. I wear this on its own when I’m in a hurry, but let me tell you, applying a tinted moisturizer or foundation over this product takes luminous skin to a whole new level. I have no idea how this works, but it does, and so I’m not asking any questions.

(Oh! And those of you with redness, don’t worry about the pink appearance, as it doesn’t intensify redness at all.)

The two sidekicks that come along with the skin perfector are the Aura Multi Use Radiant Classic Blush in EROS + Clarity Organic Makeup Remover.

I have several colors of Vapour’s blush, and EROS is a great addition. I think this shade would work well on almost all skin types. Very natural – like a nice flush to the cheeks on a cold day. It’s definitely buildable too.

I have to be honest – I haven’t tried the cleansing oil because I’m up to my neck in cleansing oils right now, but I would imagine it’s legit, given I enjoy everything I try from Vapour. (Vapour is legit. One of my top 5 green beauty brands, if not top 3.) Luxury, performance makeup made with 100% natural, chemical free ingredients.

This seasonal beauty discovery is $45, which is such a steal. (The Skin Perfector alone retails for $56, and the entire set is valued at $101.) I promise you, this one is going to sell out, so get it while you can.

As always, leave any questions in the comments! I think you would love this discovery.

Is this different than the Vapour product you talked about a few months ago? I have their makeup and remembered making a note of something to add but wasn’t sure if this is the same or this is an additional magical skin product?

I’m posting a second comment here just to say that I received my order yesterday, and I’m in love! My typical makeup routine consists of putting on eye shadow and curling my lashes (maybe I’ll wear blush if it’s Friday night — go crazy, I know). I’ve been wanting to step things up a bit for a more polished look that’s still natural, and that’s what I got with these products. The skin perfector and blush/multi stick are so easy to use and blend. They go on like butter and actually feel moisturizing, which is the opposite of how most products feel on my skin. The multi stick is incredible, and I am definitely buying it in other colors.

I’m new to green beauty, so I don’t know if this experience is typical of organic/chemical-free products. I would image there’s a quality range, as with all things. If this is one of your top 3 brands, I am definitely interested in trying products from your other top 2!
