Update — Sabra

Dear participants who send in updated photos,

I love you. Thank you for making me feel like HT makeovers aren’t a complete waste of time.

Love, me

Okay! Here’s Sabra!

And Sabra’s new look!

Love the sideswept bangs, love the highlights, and most definitely LOVE that Sabra’s crunchy product hair is officially a thing of the past. Looks fantastic!

p.s. – There won’t be a new HT makeover today because I’m currently packing for a weekend trip to the Russian River Valley with 30 incredible bloggers. I’m beyond excited for a weekend full of wine tastings, spa treatments and great conversation. Enjoy your weekends, and I’ll see y’all next week!

p.p.s. – Don’t forget to enter the PHYTO giveaway! The contest ends on Monday at 6pm.

p.p.p.s – If you are rocking blunt bangs, be a bad ass and join the Blunt Brigade!

I feel compelled to point out — because I am a cranky brat — that us curly girls CANNOT join the Blunt Brigade. So could y’all please stop looking all sleek and fabulous, please?? Thank you.

I love the new cut! Super cute and much healthier looking, also, Sabra totally does not look like she’s 41. Not that 41 is a bad age or has a specific look but at first guess I would have said maybe early 30’s.

    Great advice yet again.

Very cute, seems like a good blend of the two cuts

Product shift from a purportedly curl-boosting mousse (I know. I’m hung up on hair products from the ’80s. Just so you know, my hair is only a quick blowdry away from the most killer Sheena Easton you can imagine.) to a curl-preserving creme. Smooths it, keeps the shape of my modest wave, no crunchy rustling sounds when my hair moves around. I also make a little custom blend – I put a drop of a glossing polish (a silicone greasy one) in with the creme to give it a little extra grease.
