As you can read here, I want to make out with this eco-friendly lunchbox.
Dear FTC, I was not compensated to write this post by the Goodbyn makers nor did I receive the product for free. In fact, I used my hard-earned money to buy it at Amazon. (Qualifies for free super saver shipping WAHOOOO.) Thankyouverymuchly, Whoorl
(Just practicing for December.)

October 6, 2009 at 10:38 amWhy didn’t they have anything cute like that when I was a kid? I got to take a brown paper bag to school.

October 6, 2009 at 2:59 pmi love these, but we’d have to buy 2 of them. $60 is a bit much for us to shell out for lunch boxes. keep us updated on how it holds up & maybe it’ll be worth it.

October 6, 2009 at 3:25 pmi bought one. i loved it until my daughter took it to school and came home with her water bottle (the goodbyn one) leaked all into every compartment. needless to say she didn’t want this anymore and didnt eat any lunch. i also can’t figure out how to keep things cool in it for lunch. i bought a small ice pack from the store and it still doesn’t shut easily for my daughter. i think this is great if you don’t pack anything needing an ice pack and decide to pay for juice boxes or milk daily.

Maybe you should contact the company about the water bottle. It sounds like you might have a defect in the bottle cap. We’ve been using ours for awhile (completely filled up with water), and it’s never leaked. Anyway, I bet they would send you a replacement water bottle!

October 6, 2009 at 5:44 pmI loved this too and bought it before it was available for shipping! I thought the water bottle would leak, but it has not. I have a little trouble with it though. It is REALLY big, and I feel kind of bad taking it to my son’s school for the little refrigerator in their classroom. It is also a little difficult to close. Despite the things I don’t care for, it is a great lunch box and we loved decorating it with the stickers. Plus, I love that it is eco-friendly and not just another licensed character lunch box.

October 7, 2009 at 12:46 pmI went to order…and I agree, I need two also, and $60 is just too steep. I’m sure there’re all kinds of graphs showing how much I’ll save on juice boxes, and plastic bags, and I know, everything, but it’s just more than I want to spend on lunchboxes in one swoop. Hope they become really popular and the price goes down!

October 8, 2009 at 5:10 ami believe there are more important things for our government to be worried about than bloggers writing about stuff. like you know healthcare? the deficit? wars all around us? man, it’s like Big Brother is coming to fruition. and I’m not talking about the t.v. show.

October 14, 2009 at 1:59 pmMy sister bought this for her first grader and is returning it. It was too hard for the kiddo to open, stuff leaked inside of it, etc. etc. Then my niece can’t get it closed again and leftovers (applesauce) spilt all over her bag.
Good concept, but didn’t work for us.
