Inquiring Minds Want To Know

Many of you have asked how I’ve been adapting to this whole working mom gig. I’d love to spill my guts to you all in painstaking detail, but for now, this photo should answer that question.

This is what Wito had to wear yesterday after realizing I hadn’t done his laundry since returning to work.

Fancy, don’t you think?

Hey, who knows? Anders might start a new clothing trend for babies:)

Hahaha! The first thing I said to myself upon seeing adorable Anders was “…wtf?” Only b.c this doesn’t seem like something you would put him in. Still? He looks adorable…he seems just happy as can be with his little striped leggings :)

First of all? That picture is hilarious, and Anders is adorable; he’s totally rocking that outfit. Second of all, yes, the nanny should TOTALLY be doing the laundry…as an avid hater of laundry (um…doing it, not, y’know, the clothes themselves) that’s one of the best perks of having a nanny. Also, I love those camo socks; my son has ’em too :)

You could put him in a potato sack and he’d still be the cutest thing ever!

I thought you were reintroducing the leg warmer fad, but then I realized it was a bad laundry day. Sorry about that. But, truth be told, none of the Nannies I know do laundry. If they are live in’s (which I am assuming yours isn’t) then they do light housekeeping and meals, but still no laundry but their own. You would think though if it was running low she/he could help out just a little?

    Have fun doing laundry tonight.

The nanny would gladly do the laundry, but my OCD of the “nobody can do it as well as me” variety trumps that idea.

Freakin’ hilarious. Anders might quite possibly be the cutest baby I’ve ever seen, circus freak outfit and all. Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of the whole working mommy thing. Like everything else, it just takes time.

Oh, and let the nanny do some laundry! At least a few of Ander’s little outfits. I understand the OCD thing (would never let anyone else wash my undies either) but how badly could she mess up baby clothes???

When I nannied, I totally did laundry!! It started out as only the kids laundry (clothes, bedding, etc) but morphed into everyone’s laundry. Truth be told, it gave me something to do during naptime and Mom never had to worry about the kids not having clean clothes (especially important when a toddler INSISTS on wearing the same dress every.single.day.). Try letting Nanny take care of Anders’ laundry; you may enjoy not having to worry about it anymore!

He looks happy, though, and I’m sure he has no idea of the fashion sins he is committing. Or, maybe he’s a rebel and he looks happy because of it? ;)

He’s the cutest mismatched baby ever. Looks like he’s still thriving, to say the least! Those thunder thighs, in horizontal stripes no less, are so adorable!

That is hilarious. Console yourself with the fact that he certainly doesn’t mind. In fact, he looks pretty damn content!
