Covert Operations With The Agent

Once again, SAJ saves the day.

Not only has she kept me company AND sane during the past couple of days, she wrote an entry about it. Thus, covering my ass ONCE AGAIN in the blog-writing department.

Go read about it and I promise I will get organized soon- of course, after I finish my trillion thank-you notes (yes mom, I promise to finish them by the weekend).

Oh, it’s official- I’m a mom. This became blatantly evident today as I breastfed Wito in the backseat of my car in the mall parking lot.

Friends like that are great. I hope that, despite being so busy, that you’re having a great time with your little man. Also – hope he’s sleeping better at night for you.

I caught myself licking my finger to wipe a smudge off of my son’s face today – another sign of being a real mom :)

Glad you have a good friend to share cupcakes with!

Awe, that’s great to have a wonderful friend to help you, give support, and to show you that YES parenthood gets easier!! A good alternative when the parents live afar.

I wish we had a cupcake palace in Vegas… as far as I’m concerned, cake is the 5th food group.

I once used the big double Medella breastpump in the pediatrician’s parking lot. It was so needed that I wasn’t even sorry.

Cupcakes and some sweet Secret Agent support. You are doing great despite all the stress around you. And you were right, your house is gorgeous!

That’ll be the first of many car feeding sessions, I bet! Also, you need to take a look at the Nordstrom “mother’s room” – perfect for a quiet little nursing break while shopping.

I hope you guys find another even more awesome beach bungalow. Sorry you are going through all that!

And then there will be the times that you smell something (you’re not home, you’re someplace where smelling good is imperative) and you wrinkle your nose and look around you, wondering exactly which person should earn your disgust only to discover some baby kak on your trouser/shirt/sock/neck/under your nail and nursing in the back seat of your car will seem like a pleasant memory!
