Another Rockin’ Tuesday Night

As I sit here on the couch, drinking wine and watching TBS reruns of Sex and the City, I have to admit I luh-huved Aidan. Of course, the new and improved Aidan (not the scraggly Aidan from days of yore).

Remember the episode when he and Steve had the grand opening party for their new bar? And he and Carrie run into each other outside the back door? And he’s smoking a cigar? And he looks so HOT? And he feeds her cake?

MY GOD I LOVE IT.

And when he yells at her, YOU BROKE MY HEART!!???
Carrie Bradshaw does NOT deserve him. But I do. Please make me a chair, Aidan.

The when he yells at her part – you don’t know whether to cry for her or give Aidan a hug. What am I saying…Here’s your hug Aidan.

I know, I know. Carrie absolutey does not deserve him. And yes, when he yells at her….I just want to give him a hug, too. Or maybe a big wet smooch.

Oh. My. God. YES! Carrie SO did not deserve him. I could not get enough of that show. Not that I didn’t like the way Big ended up pulling his head out of his ass and coming to get her in Paris, and the little dalliance with the self-absorbed Russian was fairly exciting as well.(Does Baryshnikov EVER age?) But she could have stopped with Aidan and I would have been a happy camper.

Loved his character in “Northern Exposure”. Sex with a man in a flannel shirt and hiking boots is something I can definitely get behind.

OH. MY. GOD. He was the best combination of Sex and Sensitivity. He played the same kind of character on ‘Northern Exposure’, only not as emotionally accessible.

Yep. Loved Aidan. LOVED. I was just certain he and Carrie would end up together. But, like wordgirl, I finally came around when Big rescued her from the self-important Russian.

    …ah that show is great.

One of my fave SATC moments…the cigar, the cake, the sex appeal oozing from every pore! Thanks for making my heart flutter with a thought of Aidan. Though I adored the ending with Big (and LOATHED the Russian with the fire of a thousand suns), I still pine for Aidan.

I think you just reignited my TV crush.

I have to admit that I’ve never been a Sex in the City fan, but I loved him in Northern Exposure. Hot, hot, hot!

I am sooo with you. I loved Aiden, he reminds me of my husband! If only I had Carrie’s shoe collection. *sigh*

I always thought Aidan got a raw deal, personally. Carrie was always so freaky about guys.

    She deserved to lose him.
