A Leather Jacket: The Search is Over

All Saints Cargo Biker Jacket

Every year, I become obsessed with finding One Perfect Item. Last year, if you recall, it was The Perfect Ankle Boot. People, I’m willing to search the ends of the earth for said perfect item, and will usually plop down a decent amount of cash if I feel I will wear it for years and years to come. Such was the case for this year’s choice : The Perfect Leather Jacket.

After an exhaustive search (I’m sweating over here), I found this one from All Saints. You guys, it’s perfect. The leather is butter soft and worn-in, the length hits right at high hip, and you guys, IT’S GREY. For some reason, the thought of a black biker jacket was too severe for good ol’ neutral-loving me, so the grey shade is a dream come true.

It’s a pretty penny, but this one’s a keeper for sure, as I’m hoping to pass it down to Wita when she’s ready.

Oh! And because I’m always here to enable your shopping endeavors, Shopbop has a great Spend More, Save More deal going on now through Monday, Dec 2nd. Perfect for buying a leather jacket, methinks.

Here are some of my favorites.

My Fall Reading List

My eBay Collections were curated as part of my collaboration with eBay.

How much longer until winter starts? Because I better get on this fall reading list pronto. What’s on your list? I’ve got Sharp Objects on my bedside table ready to go – I loved Gone Girl (except for the ending GAAHHH), and I’m hoping it will keep me glued to the page. Love Lisa See, and have been wanting to read Shanghai Girls forever, so I’m making it a priority. What about The Magician King? Anyone have an opinion on that one? Other notables that aren’t pictured are anything by Anne Lamont, The Fault in Our Stars (scared I will sob the entire way through), and the Dublin Murder Squad books.

You can check out my entire reading wishlist here, and feel free to follow all of my obsessive eBay stalking via my collections. I have shopping issues.

Now tell me, what are you reading right now?

Sarah Says: Blogging as a Career

blogging as a career

Earlier this year, I put a call out for topic ideas for a new video series called “Sarah Says.” Well, ahem, six months later, I finally filmed episode #1. The topic du jour? Blogging as a career. This was the first comment I received in regards to subject matter, and a few people seconded the motion.

Honestly, I wasn’t going to touch this topic with a ten-foot-pole because I didn’t want to drone on about things that most of you don’t care about, but I ultimately decided to dig in and do it for the team. I hope this is helpful for the four of you out there that wanted to hear my thoughts on the matter. (Also, by no means will all of the subsequent “Sarah Says” videos be 13 minutes in length. GEEZ. Grab a snack.)

Also, have a topic you would like me to cover? Leave it in the comments!
