Everyday Food with Sarah Carey

4

It all started with the post about cookbooks, which led to purchasing Everyday Food, which led obsessively watching every video by Sarah Carey. Have you watched her videos? Not only is she the Editor-in-Chief of Everyday Food, but she’s fantastic to watch on camera. She makes me want to cook something new everyday.

(Plus, I think she enjoys washing her hands as much as I do, so we’re kind of like soulmates.)

You can catch all of her videos here or sign up for her daily newsletter, which I pretty much adore.

This is the perfect makeup routine for a natural, glowing, dewy, happy face. (The video automatically plays at a lower resolution, but you can switch to HD using the quality setting on the bottom right.) I hope you enjoy!

Week in Photos

This one turns six this weekend. HUH WHUT?

This one would like to remind you that she’s two.

She’s growing like a weed.

I got some new kicks. The brighter, the faster, right?

Early summer morning ritual. Can’t get enough watermelon.

The House That Got Away = Lots of Thinkin’ and Not So Much Sleepin’

At-home pedicure.

My new favorite cookbook.

She’s already stealing my shoes.

Old school popcorn on the stove has been a popular snack this week. I heard a little bit of coconut oil and sea salt is delicious…

Superstah!

Bath time bliss.

It seems Wita doesn’t like to sleep in anything, diaper included. After a few frustrating nights, I pulled out the big guns and sealed her diaper shut with heavy duty packing tape. This is what I woke up to the next morning.

HOUDINI.

Have a great weekend, everyone! My parents are arriving today just in time for a fun-filled birthday weekend for Wito. Can’t wait!

Double Duty Beauty

18

Oh lovely ladies, I have a question for you. I’m filming a segment later this month entitled “Double Duty Beauty,” and need your fab suggestions. Basically, I’d love to hear about any products you have in your home that serve two purposes in regards to beauty. For instance, using coconut oil to cook with AND to shave your legs. (Not at the same time, hopefully.) Or using lip balm to moisturize dry elbows and heels. Using a flat iron to iron your clothes…you get my drift.

Leave a comment here or forever hold your peace! Thank you in advance.
