Meet Lauren, our April inductee into The Fishing Club.
Lauren’s hair:
Perfect
Perfect
Perfect
Listen, Lauren. I feel for you and your hair issues. REALLY. It looks like life must be incredibly challenging on the follicular front…here let me get you a tissue. WAHHHHHHHHHHH.
Oh, I kid. Lauren does have a very relevant issue when it comes to styling her hair. It’s super duper DRY.
In Lauren’s own words, “So, I guess basically, my problem is that I have to work hard to get my hair to look presentable, so by the time I’m done, it feels like straw. If I could have soft hair, that’d be awesome.”
Oh, do I have the product line for you, Lauren. Redken recently introduced Real Control – the line that reclaims control of dense, dry, sensitized hair. It totally repairs and transforms the texture of high-maintenance hair, leaving it SOFT and shiny. There are several products in this line, but I would recommend trying out the shampoo and conditioner, as well as the Overnight Treat Night Recovery Treatment.
As for styling products, considering Lauren uses her flat iron religiously, two of my personal favorites are Redken’s Satinwear 02 Ultimate Blow-Dry Lotion and Hot Sets 22 Thermal Setting Mist. In fact, I used both of those products in this video.
(p.s. – Redken, you have really been impressing me lately.)
Now, Lauren also mentioned wanting a great product to bring out her waves, and sorry Redken, but my two all-time favorites for enhancing waves are Aveda Be Curly and Pureology Real Curl. (I accidentally packed my brand new Be Curly in my carry-on bag and it had to be confiscated. Talk about WAHHHHHH.)
So! Product recommendations galore on this lovely Thursday.
Because I love you all endlessly, I am giving away a full-sized Redken Real Control shampoo, conditioner and an Overnight Treat recovery treatment. Leave a comment on this post before Monday, April 20th at 5pm PST and you will be entered to win. Now, get to it!
