Updates – Part Seven

Before we see Kristen’s new style, I would like to make a request of the past participants. I think I speak for most when I say that we all look forward to the awesome HT updates. To date, I have completed over 60 Hair Thursday requests, and have received 15 updates.

15 MEASLY UPDATES.

Dude. That is extremely discouraging. (I’m sticking my head in the oven right now.) If you followed HT advice, please send a photo. Hell, even if you didn’t go the HT route, but still got a great new haircut, we still want to see it. Believe it or not, I’m not doing this for my health.

NOW, GO TO YOUR ROOM.

Remember (the very prompt) Kristen, from two days ago?!

She took our advice, printed out the first photo,

and, HELLO HOT STUFF.

You look fantastic, Kristen! Thanks for sending your photo in!

Admitting Defeat

It’s been approximately 7 weeks since I wrote this post.

I tried to be a better, non-internetish sort of person. I really did.

Truth of the matter is, I love Twitter. I love it so much it hurts deep down inside.

Where else can I record a fleeting thought about some chick’s way-too-short-hoohah-baring “pants” on So You Think You Can Dance? How else will I know if Metalia goes into early labor? What if I am looking for a recipe utilizing Rotel and need an answer in milliseconds? Huh?

When I deleted my account, Twitter made it extremely clear that it was over. The account would be deleted forever and ever. However, last evening, I was informed that my account wasn’t deleted forever and ever! It could be restored with a click of a mouse!

IT WAS A SIGN. A SIGN, I TELL YOU.

So, yeah. I’m back. Just in time for SYTYCD.

(Please don’t tell my husband.)

(Although, I do have a plan for time suckage reduction. Never fear.)

ParentPicks

Hey, remember this place? My posts have been a little sparse since the fab re-launch of the website, but we’ve been working on some new features that will make their debut in June.

One of the new features is entitled ParentPicks and will be a place where your unbelievably fantastic parental product wisdom (UFPPW, for short) will be displayed for everyone to enjoy. Because, um, you all rock. OBVIOUSLY.

This month’s ParentPicks focus is on products and items for the newborn stage. You know, the stage involving lack of showers, sleep and sanity? Ah, good times. Well, may I ask you a favor? If you have a product that rocked your world during the newborn phase, could you click over and leave a comment? We need your UFPPW! Many, many sleep-deprived parents will thank you.
